Let’s say the Republicans take the House and Senate. Then what? I know what needs done, but it could be very unpopular for a politician. For the politicians to do what must be done for future generations unpopular decisions must be made.the only way to stop this l*****t, destructive regime is to use the powers given them; such as the power of the purse. Shut the government down if need be. Go on tv and make your case everyday. We don’t need to just reduce spending, we need to cut government programs. Painful, but if you are honest it’s where we are at. Also, oversight. Convene hearings and impeach the t*****rs, such as Mayorkas and Biden. Follow H****rs laptop. Cut funding to the FBI until they clean House. More to come.

Kinda’ disagree. IMO, there’s the “political elite”; then, there’s the rest of us. They have the power; we don’t. Regardless of political party, I think they’ll tell us what they think we’ll believe…..and just keep on doing what they’ve done for the last 50 years….which is appear to battle for power over us, while forcing us to pay and pay and pay.

Shutting the govt never works. Govt spending needs to be reduced or taxes raised. No reason the limit on SS is capped at $160k, it should be much higher. Cut funding to FBI, stop paying govt workers ( but expect them to continue working without pay). That didn't work last time. I was one of those "essential" govt workers expected to continue working until congress and the pres got off their asses and reached a compromise to find the govt. What about the poor GIs, especially the junior enlisted barely making ends meet? What govt programs you propose cutting, Defense, Home Land Security? It isn't just "l*****t" programs, your adorable rightist politicians also add pork to the budget. Remember NCFRR (National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform) or Simpson-Bowles created by good old President Obama? Floated like a lead balloon. We take in enough to keep the military going, Medicare, and Social Security. Every bureaucracy needs cut. Period. There are now more clerks, secretaries, and support personnel in the DOD than fighting personnel. I would definitely shrink Homeland Security and reform the FBI.
I would start by shrinking each congress persons personal staff. No pensions. 401k’s like everyone else. It could be done.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, this is exactly how our Republic degenerated from the ideal spelled out in our Constituiton.

The gutless "experts", aka elected professional "politicians" have v**ed themselves raise after raise and

You and I know, what they get paid in salary, is minuscule compared to what the political elite acquire from insider trading, grifting, power peddling, racketeering and all other forms of corruption.

In fact, CORRUPTION is now our form of government; not a democracy or republic. We the “sheeple” seem totally oblivious to what our country has become. We accept inflation, crime and reduced liberty, as being the “new normal”. C***D proved how easy it was to “shape shift” an entire worlds’ behavior! And, over the cliff the lemmings go!
