If you add a K somewhere in that persons name would it be T***H?

How insulting.
I didn't insult anyone. I just posted a true statement. You took it the wrong way.

The meaning of r****d has changed. It used to be used to describe those in mental institutions that were unable to function on the outside.
It is used on OPP to describe lefties. So yes, the meaning of r****d has changed
It is used now as then, to describe people of less than normal perception and reasoning ability. Wait a minute, I just described a l*****t. By George, you're right.

It's not nice to call right wingers r****ds, it's highly offensive to r****ded people...it's better to call them special like trump does.
That's so special of you.

I tell the t***h to all r****ded progressives. Because they are all r****ds. Or, am I wrong?
I think you have it down pat. If they aren't r****ds they are brain dead and looking for someone to take care
them.

I personally do not have a problem with the word. It has more than one meaning. R****d as a verb means to slow down, hold back or delay. When I grew up the kids were always calling one another r****ds, which I suppose was a noun. It's a synonym for i***t, imbecile, or stupid. On OPP I cannot see a downside unless the Admin. takes a stand on it.
To me the only reason I don't like it, is that once it becomes part of your vocabulary it's hard not to have it slip out at bad times. I used to t***sport disabled kids, and you have to watch your language, especially when you get into stressful situations, and that happened all of the time.

I was under the impression r****ded wasn't one of the admin hit words, it's no different than calling the right cognitively dysfunctional...or brain dead

" cognitively dysfunctional " Wow, aren't we the fancy linguist ? I like your point, though not your example. If we can insult one another in a high tone way, we don't get suspended. We can descend into gutter language, but we must be cautious. R****d is one of those words you can play with to get near the line. I have never whined to the Admin,,,,,,,,yet. Even when a nameless person who still posts would post pornographic images and paste my name to them.
As I said r****d is a word you can do a lot with. Your post might r****d my happiness, but at least you didn't call me a r****d.

T***hfully, no. It entirely depends on who says it.

Only to liberals and academics, but then everything is offensive to them. But it doesn't bother true r****ds because they don't know what's offensive.
