Friend, you are mentally disabled if you think any kind of gun control....even making firearms totally illegal, will take weapons out of the hands of criminals.
The only way that succeeds is if all freedoms are also removed, and the police have unlimited authority to do wh**ever they want to whoever they want.

It's a dangerous world out there, muffin, lots of real bad people running around - murderers, rapists, gangbangers,
drug pushers, thieves, arsonists, serial k**lers, kidnappers, sex traffickers, assassins, home invaders, terrorists,

American men and women who legally own guns and know how to use them are a definite defense, even a deterrent, against violent criminals.

I do understand that. They are/were CRIMINALS! Whether they had guns legally or not is immaterial, because violent criminals use weapons! Why can't you leftwing nutjobs understand THAT ?
And my heart goes out to the officers who lost their lives and to their families. But adding more innocent lives to the death toll by disarming good people will accomplish NOTHING.
Name me ONE city or state in the USA that has strong gun control laws and a low frequency of violent crime. You can't because none exists. And the only foreign countries who even approach your 'ideal' do so with rigid and draconian authoritarian governments.
