Obama AG pick was Clinton 'bimbo eruption' fixer

By Aaron Klein

Loretta Lynch, President Obama’s pick to become the next attorney general, once worked for Bill Clinton’s campaign, where it turns out she co-authored a memo aimed at discrediting alleged Clinton mistress Gennifer Flowers and stopping any news coverage of her claims.

Flowers is the model and actress who claimed publicly to have had a 12-year-long affair with Clinton.

Hers was only one of several embarrassing stories of extramarital affairs former Clinton staffer Betsey Wright labeled “bimbo eruptions” needing to be quelled in the press.

During testimony in January 1998, Clinton admitted to having a sexual relationship with Flowers.

Yet Lynch’s memo sought ways to portray Flowers “completely as a fraud, liar and possible criminal.”

Lynch worked for Clinton’s p**********l campaign and also served as on the defense attorney team that represented Bill and Hillary Clinton in 1992 during the Whitewater investigations.

Archived documents show that Lynch, together with campaign operative Nancy McFadden, co-authored a confidential Feb. 16, 1992, campaign memo entitled “Possible Investigation Needs.”

Under a section entitled, “Defensive Research: Tying up ends and seeing ahead,” the memo’s first item addresses the need to discredit one “GF,” which from the context was a clear reference to Gennifer Flowers.

Reads the Lynch-McFadden memo: “Exposing GF: completely as a fraud, liar and possible criminal to stop this story and related stories, prevent future non-related stories and expose press inaction and manipulation.”

Last February, nine months before Lynch’s name was announced by Obama as his Attorney General pick, San Francisco Chronicle columnist Debra Saunders referenced the Lynch-McFadden memo as part of what the writer labeled “The Clintons’ war on women.”

Saunders reminded her audience that “it turns out Flowers wasn’t the ‘liar’ in this little tale,” since Clinton “admitted under oath to having had sex with Flowers.”

“The McFadden-Lynch memo serves as a reminder of what the Clinton machine does to women who speak out. They become loose ends who need to be tied up,” wrote Saunders.

With research by Brenda J. Elliott.

The agenda just keeps going on and on!...Is there a closet in the Beltway that doesn't have a skeleton in it...again all by design!

Lynch has been a sitting U S Attorney since 1990 and sitting U S Attorneys are prohibited from being involved in partisan politics....a little something called the Hatch Act.

It takes a very low intelligence person to believe everything they read as the absolute gospel t***h. It takes a bigger i***t to post the BS in a public forum, knowing it will be fact checked.

These are the facts:

90% of Lawyers in the USA are white. So 10% are various minorities. 25% are female. The percent that are Black Females is a miniscule percent. Now we have seen Obama choose 2 B****s for AG in a row. The odds that the best lawyers in America being black are slim to none. I am sure r****t Obama never considered anyone other than Black

It just goes along with the cast of clowns and jesters of his Admin. He is not alone with this behavior but has certainly excelled at it. Bet no one touches his mark for generations. It's really to bad. I mean it but Obama has been as inept at president as a swimmer doing the butterfly stroke with an anvil tied to their feet.

The Breitbart article started the ball rolling with the erroneous assertion. That article was linked to by WND.

Then the partisan blogosphere picked it up and ran with it.

I read the original article on Breitbart.com. Once they learned that they were gravely in error in claiming that President Obama's AG nominee worked as Bill Clinton's counsel and staffer, they posted a correction to that effect at the article's bottom. Then they yanked the story for several hours. Now,the reworked version linked above is up. Note the correction at the bottom:

"Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly identified Loretta Lynch as having represented the Clintons during the Whitewater scandal. That portion of the article has been removed."

Anyone who recklessly and wilfully disregards the t***h and with malicious intent publishes defamatory information about another is committing libel -- even if the subject is a public figure.

If I were a partisan hack with a history of utterances of hatred and vitriol against this public figure, I would think long and hard about publishing a claim that the president's nominee was involved in a Clinton-era smear campaign, knowing as you do from the link above your assertion is false.
