Tuesday if Obama had had his name on the b****t in Kansas he surely would have won if it had an R behind it. No Democrats won on the federal or state level and even some locals felt that dislike for Obama had cost them seats. Here is a report from one county candidate, the only Democrat elected in the county, about what happened. Also, this article tells a lot about what made Kansas even redder than it had ever been.

I think we still have one thing to look forward too. The Democrats don't like loosing and they are going to get even if they can. I think they will crank out a whole lot of garbage they normally wouldn't consider right now simply because they want to get even for throwing them out the door.

Obama especially doesn't consider this next month a lame duck session and will do everything he can to get what he wants before the new Republicans get in office in January. Then Obama is going to try bending them to him will.

What I am looking forward to is seeing if the new Republicans will stand up to Obama when he starts going around them like always and putting out more EO's because they will not play his games.

I am also wondering what will happen when the new Congress meets in January after the Christmas break and all that I think Obama will try and do during it when no one is around to stop him. I'm really hoping they show some backbone and stand up to him next year. That is after all what they were put in there to do.

I read the article. I believe what holds true in Kansas holds true over much of the rest of the country. Interesting point. Low v**er turnout amongst Democrats is a likely cause in Democrats losing. In my experience I find that Republicans will be far more likely to v**e and v**e a straight ticket. While Democrats or people who would v**e for Democrats don't bother to v**e or even register. Democrats tend to v**e for the president and forget about mid terms. Republican redistricting and v**er I D laws did not even have to be done for them to win. The lazy slackness of the Democratic v**er won the e******ns for the Republicans. I personally am not going to worry about it. What I want to see is real action not just big talk and worthless arguements. I want to see the return of good paying American jobs and Increased industrial output. We need to pull ahead in trade and be number one.If the new congress does nothing besides try to impeach Obama and get rid of Obamacare and ignore all the important issues in this country then we only have more of the same. I want to see real action on jobs and the economy, Republicans won but now they have to prove they are for the average American not just for the rich.

that's the same old liberal parrot song. Republicans are for the rich, Republicans are for the rich. Republicans are for people making a good living. The liberals have had 6 years to create jobs. All they have created is chaos. The majority of any jobs created are part time. Democrats are among the richest people in Congress. Yet the average Democrat gives less than 1% of their money to any charity or to any cause that helps the less fortunate. Giving lip service doesn't put food on someone's plate. It doesn't give them shelter. But the liberals want to tell everyone how their own money should be spent. Liberals need to start taking lessons from those "rich" people the loathe and start giving THEIR own money to the needy. Liberals act like they care for the less fortunate, until they are asked to give their own money.

They will if Obama cooperates rather than just push his extreme left agenda.

Say what you want . All I have heard is that the taxes on corporations need to be reduced and that the wealthy pay too much in taxes. There is continual gripeing about social programs and abuse. There seems to be a war on the worker. The Gop is against raiseing the minimum wage. Big companys like Wal-mart take away health insurance from their employees and it is ok . The GOP wants to eliminate Unions as a cost cutter for industry. The worker is the does not get a fair shake .The chaos you speak of was the result of GOP obstruction and negativity. Now for my own thoughts. The health care bill is needed but came at the wrong time. Gay marriage is strange. I would have prefered civil unions.Gays in the military is strange. The stock market is way up our oil production is way up we have a thriveing auto industry that was once doomed. what could you do better?

that's what the American people said Tues. night. That's the reason the liberal/Marxist party got kicked to the curb. Oh how short our memory's are. The '94 take over saw Clinton try to play stubborn. He even vetoed the contract that Gingrich and Co. presented. Clinton was d**gged screaming and kicking to sign 7 of the 10 bills. And then when they started showing results 'ol slick willie walked around with his chest,(along with other parts of his anatomy), sticking out like it was his ideas to begin with. If he wants to take credit for something he fought against, more power to him. But those of us who know and tell the T***H know otherwise. Liberals have tried for over 80 years to change this country that a bunch of "rich old white men", fought, died and the majority lost everything they owned to create. Take a hint, those of us that have fought and died to protect this way of life didn't do it to have a party of c****e/Marxist Alinskys try to change it for perverted ways. Thank you and GOD BLESS

Eliminating Obamacare would be a good start. Then tax reform...reduce the Corporate tax rate and the Capital gains tax. Two year moratorium on capital being held overseas, bring it back with no tax penalty. Stop amnesty. Now, we're talking jobs!

I read you points.. That still does not change the fact that Democrats and people who would have v**ed for Democrats did not bother to v**e. Got to give Republicans credit for being passionate on the issues and v**eing. There is a lesson to be learned..

If I had a billion dollar company why would I want to pay 35% taxes here when I could put it in Canada for 10% less? The left tries to make it out like taxes are a charitable donation that the rich republicans want to avoid. With so much being wasted it pisses me off to 'pay my fair share' too.
As for the auto industry, I wouldn't buy a GM product to save my life. They recall more cars than they build anymore, and the American taxpayers lost billions on the bailout.

Blame the blowout Tues. night on what makes you happy. If liberals thought this Pres. was doing a good job they would of turned out in droves to keep Reid in power. Libs have families to feed as well. As for corporation taxes, by all means keep the taxes high so all the money the company makes stays overseas. That's real bright. "I'll show those big companys whose boss". Liberal thinking is like the kid with the football who gets mad and takes his ball and goes home. It results in nobody getting to play,(think American workers under Obama's taxes on the corporations). Sure, I'll pay 35-39% instead of keeping it overseas and paying 10%. Note to liberals: companies are in business to make money, not as a tax machine for the liberals to spend as THEY see fit. I can see the CEO's now. Lets move back to America so we can give the liberals all our profits to save the spotted horned bill striped three toed silver lizard. Think people, THINK!
