There is no justification for having sent troops into Iraq and Republican apologists will just have to learn to come to grips with that. There was a failure of the politics that caused the loss of life in Iraq and it was the failure of the Bush administration. Full stop.

Old Roy, this zippy lives in it's own {adjective:} minute dream world and can't see the t***h because of all the obozo's kool aid it has ingested. Have you noticed it seldom answers anyone's post without twisting what was posted around to make it appear different?
It is a very unt***hful and manipulative *useful i***t!

"Casual way that i dismiss the loss of human life"? You pompous, egomaniac!! I was at the first "gulf war". I have seen some of my friends blow their heads off because our Government was more concerned with how they "looked in the public spotlight". I live with the cost of freedom every friggin" day and then because of low life i***ts like you, I get reminded of why I volunteered to pay that price! The "Freedom of Speech" that you so blatantly abuse is part of that reason.
Have you ever volunteered to give back your sweat and blood to this country? Or, are you just one of the 150 million "l*****t losers" who live off the backs of the rest of the real Americans?
I have over 22 years of "ACTIVE DUTY" service in the Army-I have a college degree in English History, with a minor in Criminal Psychology. So don't even consider playing the education game with me. It's people like you that have allowed i***ts like Obama and his "Circus of Criminal Clowns" to downgrade and destroy this country and put it at the precipice of C*******t takeover from the East.
The majority of the commentators on these sights are vets, Right leaning in their political views and have a true sense of just what "Patriotism" really means? Your side will see this true side of America when the time is right(no pun intended), all though, it will take the "right" to clean up the fiasco that B.O. and his L***hes have created. Have a great day, comrade!
GOD bless the United States of America!
Keep your powder dry and your sights clean, there may be a "l*****t" walking into your site picture real soon!

WOW! Just WOW! Wish I could have said that!!
I can't express how much I appreciate you and other military types - you are such selfless souls and we rely on you almost totally, and you've never let us down yet. Thank you so much for all the years I didn't have to worry about safety here in the USA because you guys had our backs. What a magnificent feeling - I wonder if anyone on the left has ever felt that way?

You told that little snot exactly what he needed to hear, and you did it so beautifully! The only things like him understand are words they read from books, media, and movie dialogues. They don't know what true life and death are, same as they don't know what individual liberty even consists of. Again, thanks!

You just don't pay any attention do you? The discussion was about whether or not Bush was justified in sending troops into IRAQ. Where was there any mention of Bush being blamed for B******i?

Rather than making up stuff that I didn't say that you can flame, why don't you get yourself a second account and use it to post things that you want to go off on. Then use your 'oldjoe' account to flame yourself. That way, you won't have to try to put words into other people's mouths(posts).

Thank you for your kind words!
People like that make my blood boil. I really don't like it when people like that get to me, but, with that being said, we, those who still believe in, "GOD, family country", have got to stick together to fight this onslaught of "l*****t" attacks on our freedoms and principles of this great country. Please keep sending in your comments, don't back down, and keep waving your f**g! "We shall overcome" this attack from the "l*****t" socialist agenda.
GOD bless the United States of America.

I served during Viet Nam. You probably don't remember that but it kind of sucked and it sucked for a long time. I learned then that, even though many of us were willing to volunteer (and I did) and were willing to go into harms way, no President should send troops to die without cause and without support of the American people. Bush knew he needed the support of Americans and he got it by raising the specter of WMDs. He was wrong.

While it is strange to congratulate someone for the war they fought in, at least the Gulf War had the support of America. My war didn't, and my dead friends didn't get the appreciation of a grateful nation. I'm still pissed at that. But, at least we have The Wall now so that they are not totally forgoten.

Well, pardon me for saying so, but, you are wrong. There were and still are WMD's . They were in Iraq-they are still all around Iraq, in Syria, Iran, Lebanon ect...and GB was NOT wrong for sending troops over there. thank you for your service in the "Nam" as my dad and Uncle call it. It too, was an illegal war decided on by corrupt politicians with favors to gain. Men of my family call it the "Haig war". You will know what they mean by that i'm sure.

I apologize for hurting your feelings and really don't care. I was thinking about B******i and you people blame Bush for everything so I cut down on you. Why did the Democrats in Congress fail to stop Bush from that invasion of Iraq? They were agreeing all along that there were WMD there and when it appeared they weren't there they reversed themselves.

How many lives have been lost in Afghanistan, the war that Obama took as his war when he sent more troops in the form of trying to do what Bush had done in Iraq? Have you paid any attention to how many that number would be?

I have a nephew that served over there and said there were thousands of empty chemical drums scattered all over the desert looking as though they had been an attempt to bury them. But these useful i***t naysayers having never been there yet thinking they know everything will never believe it!

They are not totally forgotten but they sure got their wall sooner than we of the Korean Era got ours. I proudly wear a cap that says Army Security Agency above the design of our service and under it says Cold War Veteran.

Do you know how many troops died in Korea in the just over 3 years of fighting? Compared to Vietnam and the amount of time it was much higher. The WWII vets didn't get their wall until much later than the war and many more were k**led in the a bit over 4 years of our part in it.

People didn't spit on the returnees of those other two wars and they sure did on the Vietnam vets. Now I wonder if it could have been because left leaners were responsible for that just as they were in finally getting our government to admit defeat and having to snatch that defeat from the jaws of victory.

Vietnam was caused by Eisenhower and his doctrine about extending the Truman Doctrine which promised the people of southeast Asia he wouldn't allow C*******ts to take their lands over. Eisenhower sent "advisors" to Vietnam after the French left. Those men were unarmed but after a few of them were k**led they were allowed to carry sidearms and it progressed from there. I think that the politics that were involved there came right of Washington and was mostly left leaning noise the whole time. I missed that one in that I was in Europe during the early days of it and never was unhappy that I missed it but I do seem to remember more of it than some here do.

Rest assured real Americans WERE behind the War in VietNam. Unfortunately our politicians were NOT, and the political left was not. Can you picture John Wayne pulling a Jane Fonda stunt? Every person I talk to despises that maggot, Jane Fonda. Anyone, ANYONE on the right would have been over there encouraging, thanking, our troops - but you have never found the left EVER thanking our troops unless they have something to gain from it.

You say you served during Viet Nam, but you don't indicate in what capacity you served. Guess what? I, too, served during Viet Nam as an Army nurse. I was never shot at in that capacity, but I loved those guys who DID have to face the filthy little lice we called the enemy - in fact the soldiers' enemy was more clearly the American political left than the VietCong. Some politicians should have hanged for their behavior in not allowing us a win. I am on the far political right, zippy.

I think you are filled with h**e because of that war - I know lots of people who are, but their h**e is misdirected. The hatred is so strong that they don't see clearly. Trust me, there were NO MEMBERS of the political right spitting at ANY military people. The political right respects the military - it's the left who h**es it because the left dreams of utopia where all their wishes come true and the military represents the impossibility of that - the political right knows better than to dream those kinds of dreams. I think you might want to re-consider the kinds of people you hang out with - they are slowly k*****g you with hatred. And on this thread you are begging people to shun you. Do you know why? If you think Obama is your savior, you are in for even more hurt. Wake up, man. Smell the roses. You have supporters on the political right - you will NEVER have supporters on the political left because there it is dog eat dog, and happiness is an unknown there.
