I h**e to break it to you cons but it looks like your hero Putin isn't going to be able to hang unto the Donbas as long as he hoped he would. Unfortunately, I guess we are going to find out if his nuclear threat was real as that may be the only way of keeping what he stole...

A Ukrainian counteroffensive that already has reclaimed thousands of miles is breaking through Russian lines in the southern Kherson region recently annexed by Moscow, Kremlin-installed officials said Monday.

Vladimir Saldo, the Russian-picked head of the Kherson province, said on state television that multiple settlements about 70 miles northeast of the city of Kherson on the Dnieper River have been overrun.

"It's tense, let's put it that way," Saldo said in a t***slation by Reuters.

Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said in his daily briefing that “with superior tank units ... the enemy managed to penetrate into the depths of our defense.” But Konashenkov said Russian troops had fallen back to a defensive position and "continue to inflict massive fire damage” on Kyiv’s forces.

The deputy head of the regional administration, Kirill Stremousov, said Ukraine forces “have broken through a little deeper," but wrote on Telegram that "everything is under control."

Ukraine also reported making inroads in the Luhansk province days after reclaiming the strategic eastern city of Lyman in the Donetsk province near the border with Luhansk.

Name the ones who have rooted for Russia. That does not count the ones who are concerned about how much money we are spending when our economy is so fragile.

007, Weasel, Wolf Counselor, Zemirah...just for starters, and spending money is good for an economy, especially military arms that have to be replenished time and time again. Military spending alone should be enough to keep our economy going.

I guess the question begged is why are you cons so drawn to authoritarian dictators who rig e******ns at the point of a gun? I thought you guys were against that kind of crap? Honest to god, your attraction to Putin and his power plays goes beyond all reason...

They aren't driving Russia back, they are pulling back. What Ukraine does at this point will determine Putin's move as regards to nukes. Putin is letting Ukraine make the next move.

He means the ones like me who can see that Biden and the West are driving this unnecessary war. They have even discouraged Zelensky from reaching a peace deal. Absurd!!

Pulling back? Are they destroying their tanks and vehicles in their wake? And I'm pretty sure Ukraine is going to take back all of the lands that Putin stole!

Instead of just blowing smoke out of your ass why don't you explain yourself as you go along. For example, how are Biden and the West driving this war and when was Zelensky prevented from reaching a peace deal?
