Yes, it is tragic that the rainforests are disappearing. As for your point; so what? What are you going to do about it? We are not impressed with your constant virtue-signaling.
The r****ded moron may just be you. For example, a Hurricane is a "weather event" not "climate." No one in their right mind denies that the climate is changing.
If you want to say the weather is being changed by climate then you also have to acknowledge that cause and effect of weather are being changed by everything. Aphelion, perihelion, eclipses, the speed at which the earth rotates, the tilt of the Earth's axis of rotation, solar flares, cosmic radiation, the geographical pattern of land masses due to tectonic plate movement, volcanoes, ocean currents, particulate emissions, and on and on, even the flap of a butterfly wing, and all these have been happening since the beginning of time on Earth, long before man appeared. Incidentally, one of the biggest, most efficient greenhouse gases in the atmosphere is water vapor.
You should be more concerned with the proliferation of coal-fired power plants in Asia, and disappearing Marshlands that are either drained or eroded away, which are 50 times more efficient than rainforests at removing CO2 in the atmosphere and converting it to O2.
