What would “deserve” tend to implicate.
It’s pretty lofty on that one.
Deserve
implies a cause and effect.

These are authoritarian type words .
Even implying them to the unborn is wrong.

Merriam Webster:

Deserve: "to be worthy, fit, or suitable for some reward or requital; earn, merit."

Ex: A baby "deserves" to live out it's life rather than be torn literally limb from limb and thrown in the trash. A baby "deserves" to be respected. A baby "deserves" the reward of continuing the life it began when its mother decided to have unprotected sex. It "earned" and "merited" that reward when it was conceived.

K*****g an innocent child/person intentionally is murder.

Having sex, knowing the outcome might result in a pregnancy and not willing to assume the responsibility, is irresponsible.

DESERVE
To be worthy of, in a bad sense; to merit by an evil act; as, to deserve blame or punishment.
Noah Webster’s First Edition of An American Dictionary of the English Language

As in you deserve to have a millstone placed around your neck and be thrown into the sea for your moronic views on murdering innocent children.

You're right, I'll be rewarded in heaven.

And unless you repent, you will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb with the smoke of your torment ascending forever and ever with no rest day or night.

Did I make that definition up myself? No. I quoted it from Merriam Webster. That's why I put "From Merriam Webster" before the definition. See below for the definitions I copied from their site.

And I thought we were talking about the word "deserved" not "punishment". Are you implying that the word "deserved" means "punishment"? That's about as dumb as when you wrote that an innocent baby is not innocent because it is guilty of its mother's sins.
