A Representative Republic or a Democracy of mob rule?

A Representative Republic or a Democracy of mob rule, what did James Madison design?

This is in response to Milosia2 who posted "Let's Stop Pretending America is a Functioning Democracy"

The first Constitutional Convention gave us a REPRESENTATIVE REPUBLIC to protect minority rights and protect the individual from the tyranny of the mob under raw democracy.

Also, there is not enough time in the day for every adult citizen to ponder thousands of pieces of legislation and v**e on them.

This is something not taught in public schools today where the teachers unions push socialism.
They do not want to hear it. Too bad. Hear it.

The United States started out as a REPRESENTATIVE REPUBLIC to protect minority rights valuing our individuality - be we rich or poor, old or young, smart or stupid, stoned or conscious, religious or heathen, black, white or skybluepink. The Founding fathers in no way promised "democratic e******y" in any way shape or form. We are not peas in a pod to be hammered down to the lowest common denominator to calculate our output in bulk.

The economic injustices so cited by Milosia2 and Chris Hedges are created by the C*******t Crap Parties that rob our banks and sickens the minds of our people, seeding them with envy and hatred.

This is why we have a House of Representatives based on population of each state and a Senate with just two Senators per state, no matter the state's land or population size. Small states have a voice. This is also why we have an E*******l College to balance off the power of big cities against small towns, farmers, fishermen, loggers, craftsmen, artists, or entrepreneurs, be they beggars, prophets or millionaires.

All have in their own right, a right to succeed or fail. This is to protect minority rights and human free will and pure passion. We are born free, made in God's image. Our freedom to choose is our security and dignity.

You want change? Get rid of Marxism.
The impediment to human creativity and dignity is due to
(1) Karl Marx's counterfeiting government central banks systematically devaluing the currency. thus creating inflation so one cannot responsibly save for the future.

(2) Karl Marx's government progressive taxes destroy capitalist competition, incentive, and morale. This is deliberate so that the poor cannot work their way out of poverty, creating a cast system.

(3) Marxism sickens people, crippling people, lying, c***ting, stealing and murdering people, and incites endless wars. This Marxist curse has continued on even after his death. Socialism is nothing but a den of thieves and s***ery sold by a slick salesman pitching Utopia back on the government plantation. Nobody in their right mind would latch on to this farce.

Just hand over all your property, your money, your guns so we will all be equal and Big Brother will protect you because he L-O-V-E-S you. Are we being fleeced? At what point do you become suspicious?

Tell it like it is, Melosia and Mr. Chris Hedges.

Greed, envy, lust for power, and know-it-all arrogance are all human failings that manifest itself as a socialist collective under state-sanctioned pickpockets. This is why centralized planning fails, be it instigated by a Machiavellian dictator or a mob.

Equal opportunity, yes; but by no means equal in output, thank God for that. We are not a nation of serfs on the government plantation or a hoard of lemmings following the mob over a cliff. Get it? We are individual humans driven by passion, creativity, exploration and lust for life!

Let me ask another question.
How many civilizations have survived over the past 2 million years that thrived on trickery and treachery?

Where does t***h, trust and love fit into the preservation of civilization?

Life is hell on earth when we cannot trust anybody. You don't need an IQ score of Einstein to figure this one out.

Bad Bob,

If you are laughing at the decline of our nation lead by Democrat spoiled brats, you will not have the last laugh.

Remember, if you care to study history, that c*******t dictators always k**l off their greatest supporters and allies first. If you are bored, trapped in the house from winter storms, read Roy Medivev's "Let History Judge" published under Gorbachev's late reign. The gulag was full of loyal c*******ts wondering why me. They were competitors to power. And they were deluded as to the objectives of Marxist c*******m, a German intelligence operative as r****t as hell. Marx was born 1818, watching wars, weapons, disease and propaganda in action at an early age. He was a propagandist and liar of extraordinary sk**l mocking the gullibility of the common man.

Or tackle Victor Suvorov's "Icebreaker: Who Started the Second World War?" Suvorov, an ex-KGB man who knew too much, defected to Great Britain.

Karl Marx h**ed both the idle rich and the idle poor alike, expecting equal pay for doing nothing.
"Each according to his ability, each according to his needs" was Marx's pitch of great deception to win v**es in his Gotha Report organizing the National Socialists Workers Party in Germany.

We never were a democracy and never will be. Little lapses give you the breeding ground for deep states the sniveling cowards I used to see in the Pentagon which was previously the military complex. Yes, it got too big as did gubmint. Lots of t***h in what you said, especially about teachers' union. All unions do that.

Midnight, it is almost midnight. Do "all unions do that" or just a lot of unions do that?

The AFL came along when the anti-trust laws had not been implemented by Teddy Roosevelt, the "trust buster."
The CIO came along well after, organized by Julius and Armand Hammer who built AMTORG fur trading company with NKVD (future KGB) funding through Lenin to circumvent our Congressional boycott on trade with the Bolsheviks. Simultaneously, Armand Hammer introduced the Fortune 500 to Lenin and then Kosygin half a century later while pitting workers against the big bad corporations. Do workers see a conflict of interests? Apparently not.

The AFL and CIO fought like cats and dogs until unified by their attorney Arthur Goldberg after WW2. JFK made Goldberg Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, but LBJ demoted him to Ambassador to the UN during the Vietnam War. The problem is that labor unions don't know their own history.

Now the unions are exempt from any prosecution of violence and use forced membership to gain control over industry which, ironically, had decreased their membership by 2/3rds of what they used to have prior WWW2 when membership was voluntary and the labor leaders more honest. Under Baby Bush's administration, 800 labor leaders and cohorts were indicted and convicted for embezzlement of rank and file pension funds. Today 80% of workers reject union membership. Wonder why?

Whoever controls the purse strings controls the union. Like the lemmings they are, the rank & file just don't want to talk about it. Their leaders are sleeping with the enemy. All rank & file have to do is pass the National Right to Work Act to end forced membership and see how it improves their control over leadership, wages and benefits.

Monroe wrote in the Federalist Papers the problems with raw democracy, the tyranny of the mob destroying minority rights. Hillsdale College offers free courses on the Internet regarding the Constitution and American History, well worth joining up.

Can you explain how young people think socialism destroying all property rights and making people dependent upon Big Government will end r****m? I think it will get much worse, denying people the dignity of self reliance.

CR is getting older.
