Then the do gooders stick their damn noses in. And suddenly it is a Texas or Arizona problem.
What if Texas and Arizona ignored then and told then to keep walking. Loitering is not allowed. Food and a hotel cost money and if you don't have it, you are on your own. No camping within city limits. Everything outside the cities will be handled by State Troopers. If you are found on private land, you will be arrested for trespassing, charged and tried and sent to jail. Children will be sent to child protective services and handled like they are elsewhere when their parents are arrested. If relatives can be identified, they have to come and get them. We don't ship children. Adults arrested will be fingerprinted and entered into the criminal data base. Permanently.
You get the idea. Where does it say that if the Federal Government lets them in, the State Government has to pay for them or accommodate them.
Just keep them walking north.
