The only reason the DOJ/FBI don't want a special master is because they don't want the documents seen by anyone else. Even now, the special master having been ordered, the FBI still has the documents in their hands, doing who knows what with them.

But the bottom line is this, there are no top secret documents, much less some containing double secret nuclear information. It is all a big ole lie.

Of course they will try to intimidate the special master, publicly or secretly, depending upon what they can dig up on him/her.

Either way, still, no matter what, the FBI are not to be believed in this or any other affair. Period.

There were secret documents. Tump told Hugh Hewitt in an interesting lie filled interview yesterday that he declassified them. It is iffy if the documents are declassified if he did not tell anyone that he did it.

The president has the power to declassify anything AT ALL. But lets face it, the entire reason they don't want a special master involved is because they have no case against Trump. They want the public to think they do, to believe the BS they have been leaking and the special master destroys that.

He can not just think to himself, I want this secret stuff so it is hereby declassified.

There are procedures and others would have to know it had been declassified.

I suppose he could use Article II. Doing that would open a can of worms that would probably outlive him.

If you look REALLY deep, it was reported in January, 2021 that staffers under the supervision of National Records staff packed these boxes. As is customary. This whole thing is show BS for uninformed, ignorant people. The DNC are smear masters.
