Texas DMV Sells Personal Information To Hundreds Of Companies; Drivers Not Allowed To Opt-Out
all they are gonna do is have your address. If you get a ton of junk mail because of it then what you do is collect all the junk mail for awhile. When you have a nice pile get a small box and fill it up. Some of the junk mail people will send postage paid envelopes for you to respond to their offers. Take this postage paid envelope and tape it to the box and take the box to the post office. When they get the box with their junk plus everyone else's junk and then get billed for the postage your amount of junk from that address will decrease immediately, then you do it to another address. After a few of those you won't get anymore junk from these people. You have to save it up because the postage is determined by the weight. The more weight the better. Trust me this works, I am almost junk mail free.
Hmmmm That indeed IS a good thought........
On the other hand, the fact that an official institution from the government sells private information, for profit, is, in my opinion shocking.
Breaching the privacy is already something sick, that a government institution does it is failing the public, my opinion!
Given your solution, perhaps we should sent the received rubbish to the DMV........... so they loose the $1.2 million to postal costs.......... USPostal is also a government institution I think........
