This Notion That J6 R****rs Are Political Prisoners Is Some Profoundly R****ded BS

First of all, the ones that were just there were allowed to be free until their trials, and most have not been sentenced to time...the non violent or destructive ones have gotten light penalties.

Which leaves the ones that attacked police, broke windows and doors or other physical property, and conspired to take things much further than they went. This isn't allegedly charges when they are on video, how would someone on video seen attacking a police officer possibly defend that and get an acquittal? A jury looking at a video can't deny what they see, the only possibility is a credible "that wasn't me" defense...they were doing a patriotic thing doesn't change the fact that they attacked police or destroyed property.

They broke the law...it's really that simple.

And you know what, there are a large number of republicans who acknowledge they broke the law and have to be held accountable...these are the moderates, the sensible republicans, those who actually respect the rule of law.

Yet Illinois will have these non-detainable offenses starting January 1, 2023.

I am going to have you arrested because you broke the law. Oh, you didn't? But I'm from the government and I say you did. Trial? What trial. I say you are guilty.
There are people being held who have not been arraigned after all this time. This violates every concept of speedy trial. Yes, they are political prisoners. That is what you call someone who is held for an unreasonable time without arraignment or even a chance to make bail. For you to say differently merely proves that you are the N**i/F*****t you like to accuse everyone who disagrees with you of being. You make your accusations without a shred of proof, unless it's some bulls**t op/ed from a Liberal rag, which is also devoid of proof. You are a troll and a liar. You might be better served to slither back into the stagnant backwater of the gene pool from which you slithered forth in the first place.

Isn't it funny how you are the only one you talk to who ever agrees with you?

He needs to look up the definition of "profound," before using it incorrectly again; further exposing his lack of education. So many people think using what they perceive as intellectual phrases will make them seem smarter than they really are. When they use them incorrectly, it merely accentuates the shortcoming.

Then simply give them the fair and speedy trial that they are entitled to under the constitution.

A year and a half in jail for trespassing seems a little harsh...especially when you only get 12 months probation for illegally changing official government documents to start an illegal investigation. Hell you don't even get disbarred.
