Received from a friend. Sums up my some of my thoughts at times.

I received the following from a friend. He’s a bit older than I am, just thought I’d point that out. 😂 It does sum up some of my thoughts.
“As a man, I used to think I was pretty much just a regular person, but I was born white, to a two-parent household which now, whether I like it or not, makes me “privileged”, and a w***e s*********t & responsible for s***ery.
I am a fiscal and moral conservative, which by today’s standards, makes me a f*****t because I plan, budget and support myself.
I went to high school, got in some college, got a degree and have always held a job. But I now find out that I am not here because I earned it, but because I was “advantaged”
I am heterosexual, which according to wokes, now makes me a homophobe.
I am not a Muslim, which now labels me an infidel.
I believe in the 2nd Amendment, which makes me a de facto member of the “vast gun lobby”.
I am older than 70, making me a useless eater who doesn’t understand Facebook, Instagram or Snapchat.
I think and I reason, and I doubt some of what the media tells me, which makes me a "Right-wing conspiracy nut”.
I am proud of my heritage and our inclusive American culture, making me a xenophobe.
I believe in hard work, fair play, & fair compensation according to each individual’s merits, which today makes me an anti-socialist.
I believe our system guarantees freedom of effort and opportunity – not freedom of outcome or subsidies, which must make me a borderline sociopath.
I believe in the defense & protection of America for and by all citizens, which now makes me a militant.
I am proud of our f**g, what it stands for and the many who died to let it fly, so I stand hand over heart during our National Anthem - so I must be a r****t.
Funny - it all took place over the last 8 - 10 years!
If all this wasn't enough to deal with, now I need to decide which restroom to use.”

Tell your friend not to be persuaded by everything he hears....to have confidence in his own beliefs. The current political discourse is not all about him.

Get a clue asshat. You’ve missed the point completely. He’s already confident in who he is and in his beliefs. Besides, I don’t tell my friends what to think. My friends can think for themselves. I don’t tell anyone what to think.

I believe this man described how many of us feel. Frankly getting s**k of it.

You just explained to us in detail what your friend thinks and that it sums up your thoughts.

Many people think alike on a myriad of subjects. What's your point, besides you really didn't have one?

My exact statement; “ 😂 It does sum up some of my thoughts. ”
I’m not going to explain a tongue in cheek post to you. I don’t have years to waste.

My point is that right-wing believers do not have to feel diminished or marginalized by left-wing labels.

Why would we? Most could care less what you loons think, since you believe the t***h is what you feel it should be.

Dashy, you are a piece of work to say the least. What gives you the impression that conservatives would ever feel diminished or marginalized by people like you? Like Tippy, you’ve completely missed the subtle humor in what was posted. Perhaps this is the cause of one of your many issues.
gran·di·os·i·ty /ˌɡrandēˈäsədē/
noun: grandiosity
the quality of being impressive and imposing in appearance or style, especially pretentiously so.
pompous superiority or pretentiousness.
"he was self-absorbed and prone to grandiosity"
“In the field of psychology, the term grandiosity refers to an unrealistic sense of superiority, characterized by a sustained view of one's self as better than others, which is expressed by disdainfully criticising them (contempt), overinflating one's own capability and belittling them as inferior; and refers to a sense of personal uniqueness, the belief that few other people have anything in common with oneself, and that one can only be understood by a few, very special people. The personality trait of grandiosity is principally associated with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD), but also is a feature in the occurrence and expression of antisocial personality disorder, and the manic and hypomanic episodes of bipolar disorder.”

I guess I should have know that Republican sarcasm, like most right-wing statements, should be taken with a "grain of salt."
