The Department of Justice has officially filed a motion to appeal a ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Aileen Cannon appointing a special master to review documents seized from Mar-a-Lago by the FBI.

Minutes after filing its notice of appeal, the Justice Department filed a separate motion asking Judge Cannon to put part of her Monday decision on hold. In that filing, prosecutors asked that the Justice Department be allowed to use documents bearing classification markings in its investigation, and said it wasn’t asking to continue using the thousands of other records that had been seized.

Then why are they seized? Nothing out of the FBI should be considered true. Not one thing. And now they want us to trust them to just use certain documents in their investigation? That is laughable!!!!!!!!!!!!

My understanding is that the info contained in these files is above the the judges pay grade. The FBI doesn’t even have people that should be reading these documents.
So. Why should they let one of trumps personal judges peruse top secret info , knowing she isn’t qualified to even look at these files .

nwtk, What problem do you have with the FBI? They had evidence that there were documents taken from the White House that should be in the Archives. Archives subpoenaed Trump for them, but he only sent a fraction of what they had. The FBI obtained a legitimate search warrant, and searched the Mar-A-Lago estate. They had the courtesy to not serve the warrant while Trump was present. They did this because their protocols call far taking the owner of the property into custody. They found far more documents than they thought they would, including classified, secret, top secret, and documents so secret that they should never be allowed to leave the place that they were stored.
All this plus the fact that they were totally unsecured. Peoples lives could be at stake if they fell into the hands of unfriendly countries like Iran, Russia, China, or North Korea, or even terrorist organizations.
With all this craziness, over forty folders labeled classified, secret or top secret were found empty.
You probably consider yourself a good American. If so, please explain to me why the citizens of this country do not owe the FBI our deepest thanks.

The FBI has been leaking lies and false information for the past decade with increasing regularity. They are a political weapon of the democrats at present. It was the FBI who lied to the FISA judge to be able to spy on Trump, no telling who else they have spied on.

As for this raid, their claim that Trump was not cooperating is totally false. They are the ones hiding their actions on this. President Trump is fully willing to have it ALL be seen by the public; warrant and affidavit both unredacted. That right there would clear up a ton for you h**ers without revealing anything double top secret. This is a political farce as are all the "get Trump" strategies thus far over the course of the last 8 years or so.

All this shows me that the FBI is now a political entity and should not be trusted on a single solitary thing.

The real question is how can YOU trust them? Youy take them at their word and even believe the leaked crap. If it is leaked, it is not worthy of trust just as the leaker, the FBI, is not worthy of trust. If they leak, they lie; think Adam Schiff.

nwtk, I just don't believe that is the case. The FBI has a record of catching bad guys within the borders of the country since Moby Dick was a minnow. If anything they have a reputation of being conservative.
Trump knows that these documents are extremely sensitive and will never see the light of day. My only question is, why did Trump have these documents moved from a secure space in the White House, and go to Mar-A-Lago instead of the security of the Archives dept?

99% of them are awesome like you describe. But the ones involved in these political shenanigans are in need of an a$$ whooping and need to be fired. As for the documents scandal, I am fully convinced it is the bad one's who are cooperating with the DNC to jack up the republicans prior to the Nov midterms. They now that ignorant people will equate bad orange man with republican candidates.

As for your question, I am sure the documents are not what the FBI has leaked that they are. Trumps attorney made a statement early on that the Documents have been declassified. It wasn't a leak but a very clear statement.

True or not, unknown but I'll trust that over a leak any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

nwtk2007, I still want to know what Trump was doing with all these documents that he illegally took from the White House? He ignored subpoenas from Archives to turn them over. He should not be in possession of any of them, much less top secret documents.
