I do not care what party you belong to. I do no care if you are on the right or the left or in the middle, the only think you should be doing today is either v****g or helping some one to v**e, all else today is B S

Great thought Clark. The wife and I early v**ed on the 20th before I left for Asia.

I can't believe the small percentage of people who turn out to v**e especially in mid terms. It's something on the order of 40% of registered v**ers for a mid term e******n.

I know people so Lazy, they don't r******r to v**e because they don't want to be called up for Jury Duty.

People died for our right to v**e.

Plus I figure if you don't v**e you can't complain about the government.

Anyway Clark, you have a great e******n day over there in 'Gods Country" W Va.

It sure is beautiful there!

Parents were from Morgantown. V**ed second day of early v****g, sent a letter to my editor about v****g as an American, which he finally put in the Paper Sunday. I agree with you 100% and tried to do my part, it up to everyone else. I won't watch much new today, but will be watching real close after polls back east close. Then tomorrow, nothing else to do but wait.

I v**ed about 10 am, and was amazed at the number of people there. Mid terms are usually slow. The man who registered my v**e said I was number 576 today. I didn't think there were that many in my precinct. Maybe is should have checked to see if my deceased husband had sneaked in to v**e.

I got to my polling place at the usual time today before I went to work. On a typical mid-term e******n day, about 10 people would have been in and v**ed before me. Today, the number was closer to 30. (20, or so, would be typical in a p**********l e******n year.) So, yes, BIG turnout today. (BTW, I'm in Upstate NY, about where the suburbs trail off into the countryside.)

We v**ed the second day of early v****g and there was a line then. Every day there seems to be a line, which is unusual on midterms. There are people outside handing out flyers half a block from the polling place. anyone who v**es because of what he gets in a slick ad ten minutes before v****g, shouldn't be v****g anyhow,

I v**e at a Middle School. Obviously, they have not heard about Mrs. Obama's food rules. There was a big bake sale going on, nary a healthy vegetable or whole grain in sight.

Were there any students in sight? I'm guessing not. In that case, appetizing food may be brought to bear.

May have been a bigger v**er turn out , but as Stalin once said It is not who v**es that counts -- it's who counts the v**es is what counts .Guess the counters finally wised up to Obumer and his BS Comrades .

Thunder, are you really as dumb as you seem? You just stated that the Republicans who won, won through e******n f***d. I don't know what else you would call it when you say it is the people who count the v**es decide the e******n.

In this post all I called for is for everyone to get out to v**e and as a liberal I am not really happy with the turn out, but I can live with it as the people spoke. I do feel Obama, WHO IS NOT MY GOD, lost the e******n as he has done a very bad job of selling what he has done and the last time it took this long for the country to recover was under FDR.

Don't feel too bad about it. When one party comes roaring in, pretty soon, it will leaving with its tail between its legs as the other one gets its turn. It happens about every ten years or so, on average.

Even the parties of presidents whose popularity ratings at the time are over 50% tend to lose seats in both houses in their second midterm e******n. When the president's popularity is well below that waterline, well, Katie bar the door. This is basically the reverse of '06 and quite predictable, at least in the broad strokes. The e*****rate was/is s**k of the prez (BushII then, Obama now) and were/are ready to try something different.

BTW, I thank you for reminding EVERYBODY to go out and v**e.

Thunder, it seems you proved my point, you said it is the ones who count the v**es determine the out come. I always though it was the people who v**ed determined the out come, but you seem to say if those who count the v**es do not like who won or is winning they, those who count the v**es, will change the count so who they want wins, I if that is not a form of e******n f***d I really do not know what it would be called.

I do not really believe there was e******n f***d by either party, but I could not, not pick on what you said, for you really did say those who count the v**es decide the outcome.

Thunder was quoting Stalin, and that's never a good sign.
