We bailed out Wallstreet and GM/Chrysler. What's the difference?

This is another issue like a******n. If the GOP refuses to bend, then don't get all pissed if we lose in November.

If the GOP keeps bending what will be the point of winning. I became unaffiliated because the GOP was always bending and caving in.

You're correct, the problem I see with this is it's based on income rather than subject matter. So while 'poor' kids could use the boost it should be paid to those studying USEFUL subjects related to medicine, technology & science and not any of the crap like g****r studies, for that there's the free public library. The GOP needs to find a cohesive message to be carried by every candidate. The strength AND weakness of the GOP is that conservatives will question and are free thinkers and each goes his own way whereas the Democrats are in lockstep with their message, no questions asked, no matter how bad it is.

What's the point of even playing, if you play to lose?

I can agree with your idea of subject matter. But I think the real weakness of the gop is the far right unyielding extremists.

And Ukraine debt, all green new deal debt, and all bailout debt. 20 trillion will never be paid back, by the way.

There are similarities but the difference is with GM/Wallstreet there is tangible benefit to the economy and people in general.

You are correct ...... any attempt to shut down the loan forgiveness will likely have some negative and some positive impact on the upcoming e******n.

I wanna check too! I need some stim money!

Lol! I never get anything but we did save thousands in federal income tax when Trump got his tax cut done.

What I don't want to see is the GOP die on these two issues; student debt forgiveness and a******n. It's not worth it. We have bigger fish to fry but the dems can see that these two issues could swing the Nov midterms their way.

You just switched out the definition of how the right rolls in terms of lockstep support... Dems cannot be accused of that, it's like herding cats to get them on the same page because of their independent thinking.

And they're already doing that with no v**er ID at all in 15 states, Waiving the "you have to be a citizen to v**e" law for i******s that they're trying to implement, and already RIGGING the 2024 e******n by trying - yet again - to force Trump out of the picture!!
