Causes and Uncauses

1. Every event has a cause,

2. The creation of the Universe had a cause,

3. Can there be an uncaused cause? Only if there is a being or entity with the power of creation from nothing.

4. The Universe began with the Big Bang,

5. The Universe has unique characteristics, namely it exhibits coherence or continuity, and it has fine tuning of its essential constants, so fine, that extremely small variations in their values would mean we would not exist. This has been called the Anthropic Universe.

6. Through the mathematics of String Theory, it has been postulated that we live in a Multiverse. We cannot prove or disprove the idea, since we cannot perform any direct observations of this Multiverse, nor can we test its existence, thus, to believe in it is an example of faith in science.

7. Life began on earth, and after the origin of life, the theory of Evolution was postulated to account for the development of species.

This theory is not complete and has severe problems. The fossil record does not support the theory, and natural se******n and random, undirected variations are grossly insufficient to account for the appearance of complex life forms since the Pre-Cambrian timeframe, especially when one must account for the problem of irreducible complexity.

There has been only one procedure that would allow the creation of a life form with all of its organs, blood flow, nerves, eyes and brain working, and that is by way of growth in the womb and birth. No stepwise procedure been postulated that could build a complex life form, one organ, or one anything at a time and have it live.

8. To create such a complex life form, vast amounts of information has to be infused into the cellular growth process, ostensibly by way of DNA or RNA, which contains the coded information to build that special life form. We do not know where that coded information came from.

Panspermia, the seeding of life from another planet, has been proposed as the origin of human life, but that, too, has a huge problem. It simply moves the problem a step back! Where did ,this species on another planet get their information from? We want to know how the information was created in the first place.

9. The most satisfactory answer to these problems and observations is quite simply the Almighty God, the Uncaused Cause. Only such a being can create the Universe, create life, and oversee that it is working as planned, or not!
