I am sure you can see the connection. Until the stupidity of the green new deal arose and is even getting funding (causing inflation to soar), there was no big push for Ev's. They were being developed at a moderate pace but now we are having it forced on us, even to the point where some banks are declaring no more loans for gas operated vehicles after a couple more years.

Come this winter, the first repercussions of this BS will become abundantly clear as heating costs go through the roof, shortages occur and the grids fail under the load of charging these things.

IOW, we ain't ready for it and it is stupid to push it forward faster than we are ready for it.

nwtk, It may interest you to know that more jobs have been created under Biden than in Trumps four years of his criminal administration. Right now, the Fed is raising interest rates to fight inflation. There must be a slowdown in business to fight inflation. Thats economics 101.

The Colorado River is now a trickle, compared to what it once was, and it will get worse before it gets better. That is just one consequence that is occurring in this country, and similar catastrophes are occurring all over the world. As terrible as it is to lose some jobs, g****l w*****g is a genuine existential threat to the planet, and must be reversed! Layoffs occur all the time in the Auto industry when they want to slash costs. It is called capitalism. Profits drive the auto industry like all other industries… how many layoffs were due to robotics? Industries change all the time. Ohio is seeking thousands of workers since the CHIP bill passed to build and work at proposed chip plants. They will be good paying jobs. Keep moving forward….
