If you realize each day is a gift, you may be near my age.

My Twilight Years ~ Clint Eastwood

As I enjoy my twilight years, I am often struck by the inevitability that the party must end.

There will be a clear, cold morning when there isn't any "more." No more hugs, no more special moments to celebrate together,no more phone calls just to chat. It seems to me that one of the important things to do before that morning comes, is to let every one of your family and friends know that you care for them by finding simple ways to let them know your heartfelt beliefs and the guiding principles of your life so they can always say,"He was my friend, and I know where he stood."

So, just in case I'm gone tomorrow, please know this:
I v**ed against that incompetent, lying, flip-flopping, insincere, double-talking, radical socialist, terrorist excusing, bleeding heart, narcissistic, scientific and economic moron currently in the White House!

Participating in a gun buy-back program because you think that criminals have too many guns is like having yourself castrated because you think your neighbors have too many kids.

Regards, Clint

Clint Eastwood is 83 now? How time flies.

It seems like only yesterday he was playing Rowdy Yates on Rawhide or that poncho wearing man with no name in the spaghetti westerns.

He definitely tells it like it is though.

Welcome to the club. I'll be 84 in Mid Dec. 2014.

I didn't v**e for him either time and never will.
The country is in bad shape. Can you dig out that big gun and fix it? I only have a little 9mm and a shotgun.
Hang in there...maybe we can hold out until Obama is gone.

I'm not sure what to think about Clint, talking conservative while living the liberal lifestyle...there's all those ads he's done in the past.

This fits what this "family" man would probably say to them, according to his estranged and broken families (many, many, families) not to mention the other many families that weren't his that he broke.

Here, I thought he had died.
I guess I had to think about it and then remember yes, that was a metaphorical death on stage talking to a chair.

I think that helped to hurt Mitt's chances as if Clint did it as some creative stereotype liberal act of old conservatives.

Other than that, maybe there's something to that stereotype as I agree that gun buyback programs don't work because they don't get the one's that will be used in crimes. I'd only agree that a gun buyback is successful if you mean as a police public relations tactic after some police screw up.

Clint or Mr. Eastwood your choice, we think the same, to add one more thing he never held a job, but Lie-C***t & Steal is how they work, he & his staff. I worked all the way to retirement at 62 now 74 on Friday the 7th. of November, I have been to your bar in Carmel side entrance, my kind of bar, looked at all your movies so far not your last one, it's to new for T.V. they were all great. The time at the awards you were great, with the empty chair. God bless you and your family, go safe & have a nice day. Tork Fallbrook Ca. by Back gate to Camp Penelton Ca. Marine base.
