PROBLEM SOLVED

In U.K. the demand is being made to teach all the great religions in schools.

http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/2014/October31/312.html

Solution(s): 1) Create a class directed toward "Comparative Religions"; 2) Prayer would be done in a different religion every day; 3) (best of all) have the children do the teaching. Children are capable of getting down to the basic "philosophy." It is not necessary to teach all aspects of each religion. It works with military chaplains for a better understanding without requiring them to change their original beliefs but does teach them the respect all religions should deserve.

Hmmmmmmmm, I can't see this as a solution Alicia. I see it as an affront to Christianity and, a trampling down of rights by government and, that's all.

Read this for me...

"The Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers for the sake of Islamic rule. Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and fingers and k**l infidels wherever they may be hiding. Muslims who do not join the fight are called 'hypocrites' and warned that Allah will send them to Hell if they do not join the slaughter."

"Unlike nearly all of the Old Testament verses of violence, the verses of violence in the Quran are mostly open-ended, meaning that they are not restrained by the historical context of the surrounding text. They are part of the eternal, unchanging word of Allah, and just as relevant or subjective as anything else in the Quran."

"The context of violent passages is more ambiguous than might be expected of a perfect book from a loving God, however this can work both ways. Most of today's Muslims exercise a personal choice to interpret their holy book's call to arms according to their own moral preconceptions about justifiable violence. Apologists cater to their preferences with tenuous arguments that gloss over historical fact and generally do not stand up to scrutiny. Still, it is important to note that the problem is not bad people, but bad ideology."

"Unfortunately, there are very few verses of tolerance and peace to abrogate or even balance out the many that call for nonbelievers to be fought and subdued until they either accept humiliation, convert to Islam, or are k**led. Muhammad's own martial legacy - and that of his companions - along with the remarkable stress on violence found in the Quran have produced a trail of blood and tears across world history."

I dunno, I rather give my kid a loaded AK-47 and send him to play in traffic on the nearest freeway.

"...the U.K.’s official education inspector told an independent Christian school that it is out of step with “British values” prescribed by the government and must invite someone from another faith, such as a Muslim imam, to lead assemblies or it risks being closed."

You want children to learn about Islam, seriously? "Hey! Teachers!... Leave them kids alone!". Love that song, love that band, h**e government intrusion and involvement on any shore with a passion...

We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers leave them kids alone
Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!
All in all it's just another brick in the wall.
All in all you're just another brick in the wall.

We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers leave them kids alone

For me anyway nancy, having been through nearly nine and a half years of public (including kindergarten) and, three and half years of Catholic education, who really listens to what teachers think beside alarmist parents at PTA meetings? Children, when I was growing up, got the most important information from the grapevine, i.e., each other. We met after school or before, weekends and weeknights and, school was just something you had to tolerate and get through.

Sure, we had our family traditions but, what we retained we got from word-to-mouth and hardly any of that, from adults in a school building.

I think schools have been turned into social Petri dishes by government officials with agendas. I'm opposed to Islam because it is a cult and, cults are dangerous. These i***t teachers in public schools trip over the three "Rs" and, can't get kids able to read and write in twelve years. Giving them a fourth "R" religion is just comical.

Government is out of control everywhere, especially in America. The focus should be on educating not indoctrinating and, if they can get that much right, we can discuss humanity and religion.

If we want change in schools, it starts with elected officials, they screwed everything up, now it's time we help them fix it.

We have to v**e our values my friend! Party politics have driven this country into the cesspool it is today. We have to keep talking to our family, friends and neighbors and, help even people on here see the danger we ALL are in!

If Obama has done nothing else, which isn't all that hard to prove by the way, he has made people with values come together. Allowing openly perverse immorality in our military, teaching it in schools and now, trying to bring churches, pastors and all Christians in line with his wicked agenda, will finally bring the godless liberal's house down. God will see to that or else, we really are doomed.

I am including that You Tube link you mentioned (I think this is it) for anybody who would like to watch it and, are Google search/ You Tube challenged.

God bless and have a great day nancy!

At least they are discovering fraud quicker now! I agree, an I.D. should be required, we have a right to require that e******ns are fairly determined, no matter which party the candidate is a member of.

That is just common sense and, why our elected leaders trip over it, they just don't possess any!

Have a great week!
