P****r Spends $5.4 Billion Cash to Purchase Company That Specializes in Treatment of Blood Disorders

Thinking about it, this certainly does appear to be a purchase based on self-interest. The company that manufactured a product, potentially creating long-term issues with blood disorders (ie clotting), now purchases the company that specializes in the treatment of blood disorders.

Am I the only one that sees this as sketchy?

Aug 8 (Reuters) – P****r Inc on Monday agreed to pay $5.4 billion in cash for Global Blood Therapeutics (GBT.O), as it looks to capitalize on a surge in revenue from its C****-** v*****e and treatment.

P****r will pay $68.50 per GBT share, which represents a 7.3% premium to its Friday closing price. The deal is at a more than 40% premium where GBT was trading before the Wall Street Journal reported that P****r was in advanced talks to buy it on Thursday.

P****r’s 2021 revenue of $81.3 billion was nearly double the mark from the previous year, due to C****-** v*****e sales. With the addition of its C****-** antiv***l pill Paxlovid, P****r is expected to generate around $100 billion in revenue this year, but sales from both products are expected to decline going forward.

P****r has been on the lookout for acquisitions that could bring in billions in annual sales by the end of the decade. (read more)

Aamir Malik, P****r’s top dealmaker, said the company was focused on improving growth for the second half of the decade. “We think that there are opportunities across all therapeutic areas that we’re active in,” Malik said.

For those who may not be clear on the matter, those billion dollar profits are from your tax money paid, by the US government, for a non effective ‘v*****e’.

Their next purchase is going to have to be pharmaceutical company that provides medication for myocarditis issues, as they are very prevalent with their supposed v*****e.

Maybe not any as, currently, there is no pending legislation relating to pharmaceutical companies. He can only purchase what is under consideration by the House.

All of these drugs that they are pushing have zero liability attached to them. Before you agree to take anything else from any of these big pharma companies, make sure that if something goes wrong, you have the legal pathway to hold them accountable...otherwise, they have free reign to give you wh**ever experimental drugs they can think of, with no recourse for you if you get sick, or your family if you die. Our family found that out when my brother died. M*****a has an air-tight clause that hey have NO liability for anyone who uses their product!! They didn't even say they were sorry that he died from their clot shot.
