Not only is the cost of shifting to g***n e****y astounding but it will be waisted and the green movement will ultimately fail. In a few decades all the windmills, solar panels and ev charging stations will sit idle and rotting to the ground. The government cannot afford to subsidize green forever and when that government money runs dry the whole pile of sticks collapses. Wind and solar are unaffordable and unsustainable. In the end free market capitalism will win out and the world will return back to f****l f**ls or nuclear or some new cheap sustainable but as yet unknown alternative.

The title says it all because that is the idea. The elite gets wealthy by stealing your money through their picked politicians that learn the policy-making sk**l to "cut our throats trying not to let our blood get on them."

The amount that goes to the oil industry in subsidies, grants, and tax breaks is staggering, cut them off and let them subsidize clean energy.
