America's Two Tiered Justice System

The following two examples are perfect illustrations of the fact that anyone who is conservative, isn't rich, and doesn't check off any of the intersectionality boxes gets hit by the Justice Department as well as most city and state prosecutors with the full force of the law. Anyone who is leftist, rich, or checks off any of the intersectionality boxes gets light treatment.

1. Epstein Island - Imagine if an Average Joe Citizen had evidence against him that he had sex with underage girls. You don't have to imagine it, actually, because we see it in the news on a regular basis. Average Joe Pedophile would almost certainly be arrested, charged, tried, convicted, and jailed. Not so for Prince Harry, Bill Clinton, and other rich and powerful people. Zero pedophiles who visited Epstein Island have been officially named, let alone charged, arrested, tried, convicted, or jailed.

2. Unauthorized Capitol Building Entry - Imagine if leftists entered the Capitol Building without authorization. You don't have to imagine it, actually, because that's exactly what happened in June when the "Colbert 9 Insurrectionists" did it. And of course, these leftists were released after a short time being under arrest with no further repercussions. Compare that treatment for the majority of non-violent MAGA folks (think Dr. Simone Gold who didn't even enter the Capitol Building being sent to jail for 60 days for speaking on Capitol Grounds).

You're probably smarter than the average person, but are you just figuring this out? Btw, #2 is a poor example.

Why do you believe that? I think the example of Dr. Gold is a perfect example of a "two tier justice system".

"A California doctor has been sentenced to two months in prison for being involved in the Jan. 6 breach of the Capitol and stepping inside the restricted premises along with her co-defendant John Strand.

Dr. Simone Melissa Gold was initially charged with entering a restricted building or grounds, violent entry, and disorderly conduct, and arrested on Jan. 18, 2021. She spent two days in custody. On March 3, 2022, she pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor charge of illegally entering the restricted building. Gold was sentenced June 16 to serve 60 days in jail, one year of supervised release, pay a $9,500 fine, and $500 restitution. ....

While inside the building, Gold delivered a speech through a megaphone to a crowd gathered in Statuary Hall, where she stated her opposition to the COVID-19 vaccine mandates and government-imposed lockdowns."

Compare the treatment and sentence she received with that of the 9 staff members of the Stephen Colbert show. From my perspective, the only difference between the two is that the Colbert staff did not oppose the "COVID-19 vaccine mandates and government-imposed lockdowns". WHY IS THAT NOT A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THE DISPARITY OF TREATMENT BY OUR JUSTICE SYSTEM?

"Staff members of the “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” won’t be prosecuted after they were arrested at the U.S. Capitol last month for unlawful entry as they were filming a segment, authorities said." https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-late-show-with-stephen-colbert-staffers-arrested-at-u-s-capitol-wont-be-prosecuted-11658236608?mod=hp_listb_pos3
