The last Al Qaeda attack in the US was 21 years ago.
The leaders of terror groups like Al Qaeda understand the danger they face and are always g***ming a replacement.
I'd wager AQ has a man stepping up to the plate as we speak.
But at this point I doubt if Al Qaeda is much of a threat to US national security.

However 200,000 i******s crossing our border every month, bringing God only knows what with them,
is a serious problem. From BP reports, we are looking at HIV, measles, pertussis, rubella, rabies, hepatitis A, influenza, tuberculosis, shigellosis, gonorrhea, syphilis, scabies, chickenpox, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus, aureus infections and different v***ses, including C***d. Some of the youngsters illegally entering our country are known to be carrying lice.
On the drug smuggling end, marijuana, cocaine, heroin and synthetic Opioids - like F******l.
Between February 2021 and February 2022 in the US, almost 109,000 people, mostly young folks, died of F******l overdose.
Then, there's the sex traffickers, the kidnappers, gangbangers, and other assorted criminals.

Oh, but it makes perfect sense to swat an AQ bug in a house on the other side of the world and leave our borders wide open.

As far as the Middle East is concerned, its ideological commitments drive it to empower the PLO-controlled Palestinian Authority and Iran.
