If they want improved security they should have the choice (only) to get their concealed carry, weapon of choice, paid for by them, and mandatory training. If they're not "man" enough to do that, retire, because you're sure not "man" enough to make my decisions about protecting myself and family.

This is just a payoff to themselves. Since it's earmarked for 'home security' any member who does not use the money strictly for home security should be charged with theft. If they only use part of the money for home security they should be obligated to return the un-used portion. After all, this is OUR money they're spending so we have a right to demand an accounting. This money should also be taxed as income.
