My understanding is that Bannon was under charges, not convicted, of some kind of campaign finance discrepancy, probably caught in the swoop the alphabet mafia, the FBI & others, made on everyone of Trump associates. The FBI is now an American version of the Soviet KGB. Trump pardoned Bannon not because of what Bannon did but because of what the FBI was doing & continues to do.

Former top Trump advisor Steve Bannon was their latest victim after he was slapped with two counts of contempt of Congress for ignoring a subpoena to appear before the committee.

Bannon claimed executive privilege protected him from appearing before Pelosi’s kangaroo court.

The Justice Department charged him with two counts of contempt and a Washington, D.C. jury found him guilty on both charges.

The charges against Bannon were the first contempt of Congress charges prosecuted by the Justice Department since the 1970s.

During Barack Obama’s Presidency, his officials routinely avoided prosecution for contempt of Congress for far more serious crimes.

Attorney General Eric Holder was held in contempt for failing to appear before Congress for his role in the Fast and Furious Mexican gun running scandal.

Obama’s IRS chief Lois Lerner wasn’t charged for contempt after she clearly weaponized the IRS to target conservative groups to protect Obama.

Former Democratic p**********l candidate Tulsi Gabbard torched the Biden Justice Department for turning into a “political hit squad.”

“This is just the latest example of how our Department of Justice is being weaponized as a political hit squad to go after the political opponents of the Powers-That-Be that are in charge,” Gabbard said.

This politically-motivated prosecution of Bannon is undermining trust in the American justice system according to Gabbard.

“You know, in our democracy, We-The-People need to be able to trust in the rule of law”, Gabbard explained. “We need to be able to trust that institutions like the Department of Justice and our law enforcement entities are truly acting in the public interest and that we will all be treated fairly and equally under the law, regardless of any other factors, regardless of our political viewpoints, of who we v**ed for who were speaking out for or against.”

Gabbard pointed out that the goal of this prosecution was to send a message that criticizing Joe Biden is off limits.

“The really dangerous thing that we’re seeing, as a consequence of what’s playing out here in this double standard that you’ve pointed out, is the clear message of fear: that, if you speak out against us, if you’re an opponent of the Powers-That-Be, then the Department of Justice can go after you and charge you and prosecute you,” Gabbard said.

“This is the telltale sign of an authoritarian regime and directly undermines our democracy. That is really what’s at the core of what’s wrong here,” Gabbard warned.
