Dozens of former Republican and Democratic officials will announce on Wednesday a new national political third party to appeal to millions of v**ers they say are dismayed with what they see as America's dysfunctional two-party system.

The new party, called Forward, will initially be co-chaired by former Democratic p**********l candidate Andrew Yang and Christine Todd Whitman, the former Republican governor of New Jersey. They hope the party will become a viable alternative to the Republican and Democratic parties that dominate U.S. politics, founding members told Reuters.

Party leaders will hold a series of events in two dozen cities this autumn to roll out its platform and attract support. They will host an official launch in Houston on Sept. 24 and the party's first national convention in a major U.S. city next summer.

The new party is being formed by a merger of three political groups that have emerged in recent years as a reaction to America's increasingly polarized and gridlocked political system. The leaders cited a Gallup poll last year showing a record two-thirds of Americans believe a third party is needed.

The merger involves the Renew America Movement, formed in 2021 by dozens of former officials in the Republican administrations of Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush and Donald Trump; the Forward Party, founded by Yang, who left the Democratic Party in 2021 and became an independent; and the Serve America Movement, a group of Democrats, Republicans and independents founded by former Republican congressman David Jolly.

Two pillars of the new party's platform are to "reinvigorate a fair, flourishing economy" and to "give Americans more choices in e******ns, more confidence in a government that works, and more say in our future."

The party, which is centrist, has no specific policies yet. It will say at its Thursday launch: "How will we solve the big issues facing America? Not Left. Not Right. Forward."

Historically, third parties have failed to thrive in America's two-party system. Occasionally they can impact a p**********l e******n. Analysts say the Green Party's Ralph Nader siphoned off enough v**es from Democratic p**********l candidate Al Gore in 2000 to help Republican George W. Bush win the White House.
It is unclear how the new Forward party might impact either party's e*******l prospects in such a deeply polarized country. Political analysts are skeptical it can succeed.

Forward aims to gain party registration and b****t access in 30 states by the end of 2023 and in all 50 states by late 2024, in time for the 2024 p**********l and congressional e******ns. It aims to field candidates for local races, such as school boards and city councils, in state houses, the U.S. Congress and all the way up to the presidency.

`THE FUNDAMENTALS HAVE CHANGED`

In an interview, Yang said the party will start with a budget of about $5 million. It has donors lined up and a grassroots membership between the three merged groups numbering in the hundreds of thousands.

"We are starting in a very strong financial position. Financial support will not be a problem," Yang said.

Another person involved in the creation of Forward, Miles Taylor - a former Homeland Security official in the Trump administration - said the idea was to give v**ers "a viable, credible national third party."

Taylor acknowledged that third parties had failed in the past, but said: "The fundamentals have changed. When other third party movements have emerged in the past it’s largely been inside a system where the American people aren’t asking for an alternative. The difference here is we are seeing an historic number of Americans saying they want one."

Stu Rothenberg, a veteran non-partisan political analyst, said it was easy to talk about establishing a third party but almost impossible to do so.

"The two major political parties start out with huge advantages, including 50 state parties built over decades," he said.

Rothenberg pointed out that third party p**********l candidates like John Anderson in 1980 and Ross Perot in 1992 and 1996 flamed out, failing to build a true third party that became a factor in national politics.

"Third parties" have always hurt the chances of the Republican Party candidate for winning the presidency. It is a party that turns out to be a liberal-democratic ruse. Is Mr. Yang of Chinese origin?

Hope they have a strong turnout

I believe they will. Everyone is s**k of the status quo. Welcome back! I thought you were filling sandbags somewhere in China. If the flooding stories are true. We could use about 15 inches of rain. The panhandle is selling their beef now which means prices in 2023 will go up unless the third party succeeds and common law returns.

Trump candidates are doing pretty good so far. Sure wish I had my land and freezers back. With Common Law and Constitutional Sheriff's I think I'll get it back, with little or no problems. My name is the only name on the deed and the Law of the Sea Court didn't see it that way for some unknown reason. That's how China lost Hong Kong. England just stole it. I would have taken it back early, just like Xi did. And Taiwan is next.

And Putin, Turkey, and Iran are about to give Israel an Excedrin headache. Lipan, Mossad, and their Supreme Court need to go and I think that's the goal. But it does look very Biblical with the 66 books we have left. I've never understood why Israel never took full control of their land. If they can assassinate Iran's nuclear scientists and IRG leaders why not Arafat and Abbas? Yes I know, Arafat is dead. But both were from Egypt and working for the Muslim Brotherhood. Neither were ever from Jordan or a Palestinian. Syria kicked them out, Jordan kicked them out but Israel allowed them to dig in and cause problems. The Left causes problems no matter where they go. Now they control the Supreme Court, Mossad, and the government. Things are about to be kicked up a notch, maybe even on two fronts. China v Taiwan and the three amigos v Israel. And Nesara and Gesara are already on the Quantum computer and ready to go. But only certain people can view it for now. Only one code left to enter before the money can start flowing to people everywhere, from what I'm hearing. Don't be a stranger but do take breaks when needed. Politics isn't worth losing your peace, or peace of mind. I love aggravating the lefties as much as they love, trying to aggravate me. The old fight fire with fire or spitballs with spitballs. I enjoy it. It seems adult women are back to being trafficked the most, lately. Children are too risky for the deep state and cabals which is a clear sign we're winning, especially in Ukraine. Zelenskyy would be out of fighters if the CIA wasn't being used as extra troops. They're now down to using their last crash test dummies who know how to fight. Almost time to shift to China and Taiwan. Unless the deep state takes down the grid. All part of the movie and plan. And they always have options, if needed. I'm expecting a lot more CGI stuff to be used in the second half.
