My wife and I sat there laughing at trump trying to put together his January 7th speech, one hour for a three minute speech that looked more like a Saturday Night Live skit than a serious p**********l speech. There were things they wanted him to say that he just couldn't do...
Keep in mind that his trusted advisers were telling him he needed to do this because he could be facing a 25th amendment move if he didn't...
There were still things he could not say, things he crossed off of the prepared speech...
...he couldn't even say good morning, must not have been for him to be trotted out like a trained monkey
...he could not say that he asked the DOJ to go after those who violated the law to the fullest extent
...he could not say that these people did not represent him or the American people
...he said the word yesterday was too tough a word for him and left it out
This was definitely not his most p**********l moment.
