Appropriate? Oh hell no.

Do I believe it? Not for a minute, but it should be checked out. If one of the SS actually did it, they need to be released to kitchen duty or cross walk guard.

Why? So they can text goodbye to their families while guarding kids from vicious criminal drivers?

I'm with you there, I have a tough time under the heat of what was going on that their focus wasn't 110% on their jobs...

Now I do want to see of there was communication by those around Pence with others, and what kind of instructions or reports they were giving or receiving...communications there would be no possibility or reason for destroying.
