With gasoline prices still near an all-time high, v**ers want the government to boost domestic production, and trust Republicans more than Democrats by more than 2-to-1 on the issue.

A new national telephone and online survey by Rasmussen Reports finds that 71% of Likely U.S. v**ers believe the U.S. government should encourage increased oil and gas production to reduce America’s dependence on foreign sources of oil and gas. Only 19% oppose a policy of encouraging U.S. energy independence, while 10% are not sure. These findings are nearly unchanged since March.

The best way is for American to become independent of foreign oil by using the HUGE capabilities we have. Then begin research into other options in a careful, controlled manner - instead of rushing crazily into wind/solar and their well-documented inadequacies and failures.

51% of Americans had to change their Independence Day travel plans, due to high gas/fuel prices.

Millions more are forgoing their vacations altogether because of inflation, and they all say FJB!

That was because of the higher prices they had to pay for their fireworks.
