Oh, you cute little ignorant ewe!
How do you know what the people in those 11 states drive? More assumptions? I drive a Dodge and a Jeep. Both companies are internationally owned corporations. As is Ford, and as is Chevrolet. There are a good number of Nissan Tundras and Tacomas in Texas. They are built a few hundred miles from my home in San Antonio, Texas. Is that patriotic enough for you? In my life I have owned Fords, Buicks, Chevrolets, and an American Motors vehicle. But more to the point, please name me an American car I can purchase. They have all been internationally owned for decades. Or didn't you know that?

I'm a veteran, and the VA has been under a full on assault since trump took office, he did damage that hasn't begun to be fixed. Half my appointments are private at several times the cost of what it cost for VA doctors and facilities to do the same job.

If republicans get back the house and senate the VA, social security, and postal services will be privatized within a few years, the stage has been set.

from a vet : you are a liar . Trump did more to improve the VA than any other president in history . He fired some that needed to be fired , set up a complaint dept in DC , and generally saw to the welfare of the Vets . So let me reword your statement about "full on assault" : "the VA has been under a full on assault since biden took office,
and will never be fixed as long as the demons are in control.
President Trump ordered the VA to get us an appointment at outside doctors and hospitals if wait time was far out . I personally have used this a number of times , at NO cost at all

Would you rather pay $35K for a truck made by the government and get a Kawasaki Mule, or pay $25K to Ford and get a F-150?
Or would you pay the $35K and proudly say "They're not making 40% profit off ME!"
Who CARES what kind of profit they make as long as we get a good product for a fair price? The government COULD do so, but they DON'T! Calls for privatization will fade away once the government starts spending wisely. Bureaucracies exist only to expand and consume money. Private industry has to make a profit, so inefficiencies are limited.
That is exactly what you are doing when you allow the government to sell you services that are inefficient, expensive, and bankrupt. Like Veteran services. Like the Post Office. Like Health and Human Services. Like the majority of what the government 'provides'.
Wrongo Milisio br Would you rather pay $35K for a... (show quote)

You're preaching to the deaf I'm afraid!
