What is the t***h about r****m and bigotry? The simple t***h is that we are all r****t and bigoted. It's a part of the human condition which has been bred into us by evolution and cannot be corrected without some very negative consequences, like a new inquisition or toxic political correctness. Man, by his very nature is tribal and therefore naturally suspicious of anyone outside of his tribe or that is different in any way. It is a part of the survival instinct and is what the whole system is built around. Like it or not all cultures big or small have their classes and hierarchies. Therefore, their own set of prejudices.

Some have suggested that a different political system say c*******m or socialism may eliminate r****m or bigotry. If history teaches us anything it teaches us that political systems cannot deal with problems of existence well. There is no evidence from history that c*******m or socialism or any political system can deal effectively with bigotry. Because it will only take a few generations for any social system to morph into some kind of hierarchy system. All systems end up using force and political power to control people and as soon as that happens the bigotry and r****m will start all over. Does this mean that we should not do anything about r****m or try to correct it? No, it simply means that we should all be humble when it comes to this sin because most are guilty of it in some form or other.

This means that r****m and all kind of bigotry are systemic to all cultures and nations. It does not take much thinking on the part of a person to realize that bigotry and r****m are a self-evident t***h that can only be denied by those that are bigots and r****t or those that are ignorant of the human condition.

The American Christian has been the greatest force against this behavior WORLDWIDE.
From MLK Jr. to Billy Graham, to Union abolishinists, and even some of the founding fathers, and their Puritan influences in the past, to the present day where American Christians advocate even for the unborn.

I've posted similar things for years. R****m is a normal condition. It starts out with family. Everyone has prejudices and preferences, Your spouse, kids, parents, siblings in various orders. Then maybe other relatives, religion, color, culture and nationality. Again in various orders and time and circumstance. It is normal. I watch your back and you watch my back. Unwritten.

The problem with r****m and other prejudice are when they take excessive turns without reason. An Italian k**ls your brother. Do you k**l that Italian? Maybe. All Italians, probably not. Do you want to sit down and have a drink with an Italian that used to be a friend? Maybe not. At least for a while. Your Jewish landlord charges to much. Do you h**e all Jews? Maybe so and maybe not. Jewish landlords, more likely. It is all normal reactions to family and the extensions and probable cause as seen through your eyes.

We all need to be more accepting in our daily lives with our neighbors, etc. They are all part of the extension of family prejudices. That neighbor of a different race, just might see you one day with a broken leg and come over and shovel your walk in the winter. Just to be nice. Be nice first and not nice last.
