After having answered a poll online, I have been deluged with requests for money, volunteerism, and any other sorts of support I could render.

We are going to get screwed even more, no matter who wins. Dems are cowardly and ineffective, repubs are obstructionists and all in all, each side, is to blame for the destruction of a great republic's reputation in the eyes of the world!
I don't give a good damn where you are politically: you have to admit that nothing has been accomplished beyond the name-calling, and we should have demanded better.
No mater which side you feel is better, vigilance is due from now forward, to at least assure that some form of intelligent governance takes place.

My do-nothing democratic representative, had the nerve to add me to his call list to ask if I would volunteer to call for him to receive v**es. I almost choked on the upchucking of vomit that came forward as I heard what they were asking me to do. :? Maybe his people had to much oxygen at their tax-payer paid for spa treatments that day.

I'm guessing you would most closely identify yourself a democrat. As for myself conservative. Regardless, it is good to hear someone on this forum place responsibility and failures on both parties.
Having been on this forum over the course of hundreds of discussions, not once have I heard a liberal admit Obama has wrong doing.
Many times I have addressed Bush's many faults, while recognizing positive aspects of Bush and the party.
I see virulent responses from both liberals and conservative on this forum, however liberals have the blue ribbon for attacking the person, not the subject, while completely ignoring empirical data. Facts and documentation mean nothing, and insults, demeaning, insulting foul attacks are more a standard.
Many times I attempt to debate a topic to its end, yet to have success.
With this being said, how is it possible to convince the masses to the wisdom of your statement and get citizens working to hold the establishment accountable, and v**e in politicians for the people not themselves. I have to believe the next politician that states he will change things for the benefit of the citizens, will only be gun shy from the Hope and change, the lies Obama told, and deception.

3. Stealing your money
