For this reason I stopped attending church services. I love the Catholic church and standing up for the poor. I found it to be disturbing to see political garbage in the church bulletins and Catholic organizations running v**ers registration booths for the purpose of registering Republicans only and pushing Democrats to switch parties .The Republican religion took over my beloved church and I felt like I had to be a republican in order to be a good Catholic. I just could not go against my gut feelings that this was wrong. The separation of Church and state is constitutional and I do believe in the constitution.

If you are speaking of gay marriage, homosexual life style, t***s sexual life style, g****r alterations, boys in girls restrooms and locker rooms, girls in boys, etc, etc then you are correct. They are more like Christians than the left. Was your church Bible based??

The Catholic church was the first church and has always existed. All other churches of the Christian faith came from the Catholic church. Then cme the protestant movement-- Martin Luther etc. Sin is sin nobody condones that.

I have searched diligently and can not find the lefts version of separation of Church and State in the Constitution. But it does say that Congress shall not prohibit the free exercise thereof. SO, those who tell the Church what to do are the true violators of the Constitution.

Your take on it is not the way it is. Freedom of religion does not mean anyone church is respected over another or has rights to form government policy especially the right to take away the rights of other citizens you deem lesser than.

The catholic church was not the first church, satan established it 300+ years after Jesus proclaimed "The Church of God" Read it in the new testament.
