The legal definition of a person needs to be clarified and applied consistently. There are contradictions that need to be addressed. Law needs to conform to science and logic.

God says it is a person. About 38 state laws that make it a crime to harm him/her through criminal or negligent act say it is a person. Federal code says it is a person. That is enough for me.

The unborn is a human being: What science tells us about unborn childrenBefore we can know how to treat unborn children (an ethical question), we must know what they are biologically.
This is a question of science.
Here's what science tells us about the unborn.
When a sperm successfully fertilizes an oocyte (egg), a new cell, called a zygote, is generated by their union. The zygote represents the first stage in the life of a human being. This individual, if all goes well, develops through the embryonic (first eight weeks) and fetal (eight weeks until birth) periods and then through infancy, childhood, and adolescence before reaching adulthood.
Four characteristics of the unborn human (the zygote, embryo, or fetus) are important:
Distinct. The unborn has a DNA and body distinct from her mother and father. She develops her own arms, legs, brain, nervous system, heart, and so forth.
Living. The unborn meets the biological criteria for life. She grows by reproducing cells. She turns nutrients into energy through metabolism. And she can respond to stimuli.
Human. The unborn has a human genetic signature. She is also the offspring of human parents, and humans can only beget other humans.
Organism. The unborn is an organism (rather than a mere organ or tissue)—an individual whose parts work together for the good of the whole. Guided by a complete genetic code (46 c********es), she needs only the proper environment and nutrition to develop herself through the different stages of life as a member of the species.
These facts about the unborn are established by the science of embryology and developmental biology. They are confirmed by embryology texts, scientific journals, and other relevant authorities.Yes, it is. br br br url=

Getting them to care is another story.
The Bible predicted it by calling it “without natural affection”.
“1But know this, that in the last days, grievous times will come. 2For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3
without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good, 4t*****rs, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; 5holding a form of godliness, but having denied its power. Turn away from these, also.” (2 Timothy 3:1-4)

You are wrong...You have a soul that is eternal. But since you don't believe in that apparently let's take your last sentence shall we? Babies are fed oxygen from the moment of conception by the umbilical cord, and have a soul at the same time. Without a soul( life force) your dead(your words) Breath is necessary for life. So is the actual life force( soul) without either one of these things you do not exist. A baby as in ALL of nature requires a place perfectly aligned to support growth.

They seem to be at least as intelligent as trump supporters, like Pence they go along with wherever their higher leader (mother) tells them to go

Can you tell us where these souls came from, who was passing them out, and why you never got one?

>>>And after conception, that is what the mother provides. A nurturing womb for a living human until it is better able to survive on its own. Essentially that is it. If she was alone in a cabin with a new born child, and ample provisions and warmth and shelter, and didn't provide for that baby; she could be charged with manslaughter. Even if she was not responsible for that baby being there and alone with her. That is what pregnancy is about, even with the child of a rapist. She has been drafted or serves willingly, every bit as much an millions of men throughout history were drafted or volunteered to fight and protect the society. Inconvenient, possibly/probably. A real man stands up for the society and the lives of many in the face of danger and war. A r**l w***n stands up for the society and does what nature made her body for, and it might just be for one person needing a good start in its own life, and not death without appeal.
And what is really stupid and sickening is men (pussies) who will never get pregnant, standing up, protesting, and doing violence for something they will never have to face. And that also goes for older women past their time. As for the women in their prime, we can understand the fear and apprehension over having to carry a child for nine months. Especially one they don't want, or was forced on them. We sympathize with them. But the sympathy doesn't add up to accepting murder of a child.
With the recent Supreme Court decision, they have lost very little. Pregnant, get the pill through the mail or underground from a friend. Or get your bestie and go off on a weekend road trip with a stop where they allow k*****g of babies. Inconvenient, but doable. So stop the B. S.
Wouldn't it be nice if all of that energy protesting was spent on preventing the pregnancy in the first place, and finding ways like adoption to take care of the so called unwanted child after the birth. Your body, free choice, starts well before the actual pregnancy. Do it.

There have been prosecutions, including in California when a fetus dies as a result of an MVA.
Liberal higher powers are Gascon, Bragg & Krasner. Deny them woodguru. I predict you won't.
