Elon <> Twitter 💀☠️🪦😵
As expected, Elon Musk has found out only what we all knew: there’s something iffy about Twitter. On Friday, Musk’s lawyers filed his notice of intent to pull out of his $44 Billion takeover. The Big Tech company, which wanted nothing to do with Musk, and tried to fight off all his advances, now appears desperate to close the deal. 🤔
If the courts give the okay, Musk might be able to walk away only out $1 billion (does he own that much Dogecoin?), while Twitter still has a slew of questions to answer from investors, users, and particularly advertisers.
Buyers regret. Be careful what you wish for!

I had read somewhere that Musk was complaining about the number of bots or f**e profiles on Twitter and that twit execs claimed it was only 5%. Musk claims it's north of 25% and that management is very uncooperative. I guess he decided it wasn't worth it

It will either force them to produce correct records instead of altered records to begin conformity or just let it fall through not wanting to disclose their sleaze operations more..

Elon may not have to pay anything because Twitter has lied, refused to release the data necessary for the deal, given incomplete data, etc. Because Twitter failed to disclose the information, they are the ones that breached the agreement. Elon was only liable if he broke the agreement.

And if it goes to litigation and they have to disclose the information, Elon will have bargaining leverage(if he still wants to do the deal)
