Here is NY States' answer to the recent SCOTUS gun ruling.
Re-certification will be required every 3 years instead of the current 5 years
16 hours of classroom training 2 hours of live-fire training
Written exam with a score of at least 80%
Applicants would need to meet with a ‘licensing officer’ for an interview
Provide names, ages, and contact info for members of their household
Provide 4 references
Disclose current and past social media accounts so that the ‘licensing officer’ can review their content
Numerous no-gun zones banning CCW
