That's the first time I've heard Billy Joel perform it. Very well done but I saw Garth perform it live and thought he owned it. I still think that. Thank you both for all of them. Mike

I think it’s a great song written by Billy Joel but Garth does it justice, with such emotion.

Hi Lindajoy! Sorry I can't post a link using my cell phone but I heartily recommend "Awaken" by Yes. This can easily be found by searching YouTube

Majestic, multiple crescendos, it brings me to tears. Tears of awe as I feel the Holy Spirit in and around me.

Must be listened to at loud to LOUD volume on a Good Sound System. And I usually skip the first few minutes of funky intro, the remainder of the piece is truly inspired.

Both are fantastic but I prefer Garths’.

Do you know Hart and Bonamasss?? I’ve seen both in concerts.. Individual artist that get together occasionally and when they do it’s a wow for sure.

I agree. For me, somehow Garth really emphasizes the emotion that I think Joel was trying to convey.

OMG! Kenny Wayne? One of my top 4 guitarists. I saw him live, 8 feet from center stage at The Midnight Rodeo in San Antonio. It was my local go to bar and dance hall at the time. He was a relative new comer and hardly anyone was there. Mostly the regulars. No cover, two drink minimum. An awesome talent.

He was 20 at the time and just breaking into the scene. Very shy but his exceptional talent was evident even then.
