Great Post! I was born in 1961, so I was raised the same as you were!.. I remember my mother burning her bra in the late 60's and smokin weed in the middle of our braided oval rug, after her and my dad separated, my dad however was the conservative in the room and he's the one that taught me a work ethic, that I came into the world with only two things.. Honor & Integrity! Of my word.. Of what I do and how I treat people! Even those that don't like me.

I remember the Best music imho was the 50's 60's & 70's.. I remember doing chores, before goin out to play with friends I remember homework.. I remember .35 cent a gallon gas.. I remember when Diesel was hella cheaper than Ethal.. I remember that every war that we've had or "police action" was started by a democrat.. (except iraq, that was the Neo con bs of George W.) and all the wars besides that we were gotten out by way of a Republican president goin all the way back to Lincoln.. I remember the Hippies of yesteryear b***hin about big brother but they are NOW Big brother!..

But as a kid growin up in the 60's & 70's I remember being carefree, I had Both my parents..& While my folks were never ever abusive, they did believe strongly in "Spare the rod & Spoil the child" as in if the kid doesnt' get disciplined the kid won't learn from his/her mistakes!! For the most part my kid-hood was a Great memory.. Our country wasn't Near as messed up.. We were NOT into the "Global integration" we just wanted to be left in peace in this country..

I've always believed in live and let live as long as it doesn't infringe on me.. which is Hardly what it is now.. Now.. Now is Brutal! Now no one feels safe voicing an opinion & even self censoring..This my friend is what TOTALLY Astounds me! That such a FRINGE group of libtards can control the masses the way they have been doing!!.. I have NEVER in my lifetime seen this country So Cowed to c*******ts..and don't let them fool you socialism is just a small step away from out n out C*******m!

However, there seems to be a great awakening.. NOT to be confused with "get woke go broke i***ts" The Silent Majority is Silent No More!! Over 1 Million dems just ran over and joined the republican party since ol Uncle Sleezy bag Joe Biden took office!! So much more.. but you get my drift! I WANT OUR AMERICA BACK!!! As far as being Pro Life, so am I.. however why couldn't that be considered pro choice too?, only I would, were I of child bearing age Choose to KEEP the baby, That IS a Choice!! If I couldn't keep the baby for what ever reason, there are Plenty of couples that can Not have children for what ever reason, that would love to adopt.. The Lib issue, as far as a******n it would seem where the conservative side that want's to keep, their point seems to be "if you don't let us abort, what are you gonna do about the children we do have.." Well..Again Adoption!.. that's what, and there a Lot of families that would actually Help financially with medical, prenatal all that, in order to help the girl/woman's health as well as that of the baby..

There was a gentleman in the news this past week.. he is a surviving WW2 warrior, 100 years old, who fought c*******m as well as Hitler etc.. he was in tears at what our country has become, he was crying because of all of his countrymen as well as himself went to fight off evil only for it to take root in his same lifetime, after what he had fought for.. he said: "This country has gone to hell".. God help us turn this back around!!

The Court used the 14th amendment to justify a******n thus making it a false right. But that same amendment can be used to argue against a******n but science at the time could not define when life begins. Now, for the most part, they contend at conception.

I remember a time when Easter, good Friday, holy Thursday and palm Sunday were all holidays, including fat Tuesday and ash Wednesday.

I remember when Halloween, all saints day and all souls day were holidays. But now not so much.

I remember on holy Saturday the festival of light during the Easter vigil mass was a great celebration. And it was celebrated here in the USA!

I remember adults and children anxious about summer and wanting it to come.

I remember towns and communities, wanted to celebrate their freedom on July fourth as well as all summer. I remember cities like New York and as small as rural America, happy and wanting to celebrate, where the people, firefighters and police would celebrate together.

That was the America, I remember. The America that would laugh together, cry together, but constantly be optimistic towards each other. The America that forgot the bad and rejoiced in the good.

Maybe that's because of Roosevelt but we had a real honest can do attitude.

We need that back. And I for one will work towards that....and have been in my circles. If I question an e******n it's not to o*******w the government it's to fix the problem next time....oversight what a concept!

I was raised in two faiths, Jewish & Christian.. some of my fondest memories were when my folks would take us around our community checkin out both Halloween & Christmas lights and decorations.. Learning that the Old testament was actually the Jewish Torah.. Christ being a Jew and all.. just seemed to fit together not separate! That is what this country was built on, Judeo/Christian beliefs.. Imagine if ALL people could live by the 10 Commandments! What a Wonderful world it would be!!!

I'm not interested in o*******wing the gov't, I'm into o*******wing the c*******ts in our gov't! I'd like to see our country survive and flourish as it did when we were kids, and pray for that to come to pass!.. I'm not a pessimist either I do have hope.. It would be nice if our elected officials did their jobs and meet in the middle, but to the left the Middle IS THE LEFT! They don't care about anyone else's opinions or insights other than their own and it makes it difficult on a good day to try to see through that hyperbole and rhetoric to their TRUE selves, rather than goin with the party line..

As far as using the 14th Amendment to justify k*****g babies, this is true! There have been those, including myself, that weren't gonna do a Mandated V*****e.. I'm not anti vax.. I've had all the necessary inoculations, I just don't trust this c***d V*****e, and in the two years I've dodge the c***d bullet I have seen the rest of my family get dbl v****d and boosted and a few of them even got c***d twice.. so where the "My body My Choice" is concerned.. I don't HAVE To take a v*****e that is still for all intents in experimental trials.. for the reason that it IS MY Body..and it IS my choice!.. I've had docs ask me about the v*****e, I tell them OH HELL NO!!.. I've watched too many of my family members get sick AFTER the jab.. so hard pass.. and this is where the 14th amendment really comes in, it's called medical privacy, bodily privacy, and privacy in general.. I pray we can come together in peace..

My fear is that when the world cries peace that is when the tribulation will be here in the form of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse..

First being a white horse-is detailed in Revelation 6:2:
Conquest: I looked up and saw a white horse standing there. Its rider carried a bow, and a crown was placed on his head. He rode out to win many battles and gain the victory. (Looking at how many regime changes in other countries as well as it would seem our own despot gov't)

The second horseman is described in Revelation 6:4:
Then came Violence of Warfare

Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people k**l each other. To him was given a large sword. (We are there, let's not kid ourselves, we are in a soft war with Russia right now, and to deny that would be foolhardy at best.. we are sending Hard earned tax payer dollars and weapons to Ukraine.. According to Biden "for as long as it takes" when he was asked about gas prices inflation etc)

The third horseman, in Revelation 6:5-6, rides on a black horse: Famine

And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!" (FDA recalling all nature of foods we all eat, veggies etc.. the mysterious burning down of processing plants, Baby formula shortage, the UN warning of a global food shortage. I reckon that's enough famine)

The fourth horseman, in Revelation 6:8, rides a pale horse and is named Death: Widespread Death

I looked up and saw a horse whose color was pale green. Its rider was named Death, and his companion was the Grave. These two were given authority over one-fourth of the earth, to k**l with the sword and famine and disease and wild animals. (Death self explanatory, c***d, war, food shortages)

So when we look at what has gone on in the last couple hundred years.. We've had conquests, We've had wars, We've had famines, almost feels like we've come full circle on a lot of this.. I'm not a bible thumper, though I will say the person that made the Bible into an acronym had it spot on.. BIBLE= Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth!

The Left & The "New World Order" are looking for another famine to control and depopulate the world.. C***d didn't work out the way they figured it would.. in my humble opinion C***d was Nothing more than a Super Flu.. People die from the regular flu every year, and in those same demographics they professed for c***d.. Since my chemo/radiation I've come to believe that the remnants of those two very toxic things kept me from getting c***d.. and well.. 2 years dodging that bs bullet.. Not trying to minimize those that had it and suffered through it, I'm sure it was awful.. But let's get this straight, this was a Plan Demic.. Period! In order to control the masses, and take over, but that didn't work out for them.. so now plan B

Nice presentation. Thank you Larai. Most kids born before the 60's were taught all things that made this country great, and our relationships with each other. First, love of God, parents and country. Yes responsibilities from the highest order God, our country, our family and our neighbors. That was how the Founding Fathers created the framework of our Constitution and the Declaration of Independence under the Judeo-Christian principles. The brilliance of these Founders and their commitments and love for America, and their future generations we cherish are made role models of our lives. The more I read history, the more I love this country.

I was not born in America, but brought here during my early teen age by my uncle who and his wife had no children. They adopted me, cause I wanted to study in America. I ended up marrying a man who was the only child. So, we have a zero population growth after he was gone.

Looking back while I was 3 years old when father died, mother gathered all of her children every 6:PM. When the Angelus bill rung, children playing outside came home running to gather for prayer. We were asked to kneel and me as a little child, got tired of kneeling, and sometimes I just dropped to the floor to rest. But mother will touch me, and I got up kneeling again. We were 6 children. I am the youngest. After praying and thanking the Lord, mother blessed , hugged, and kissed all her children. Then she prepared and set the table for supper. She taught my elders each chores to do. We prayed again and thank the Lord for the food we share. Mother taught us responsibilities, how to work, to become responsible adults, and to study. Father and mother met when both were teachers. Mother was a Math teacher, while father was teaching history both in the high school.

The grade school was very interesting. Teachers gave us 100 items of arithmetic or math problems to be solved within 5 minutes. All combinations of additions, subtractions, and divisions, fractions and with decimal points. I love that very much, then I raised my hands, as soon as I am done.

Kids are lucky now they have the cell phones or PC calculators to solve math problems for them. But still they complain. They have one bedroom filled with toys. I only had one toy when I was a child. It was a baby doll.

Thank you Radiance!!.. & Biggest of Hugss to you!!.. I Love life!. I Love OUR Father who gave me this Life!!.. I have a massive love for my only daughter, she's a 4 legged kid, and her name is "JOY".. I adopted her 3 days after my Akita passed away, in 2016 of Bloat..who I rescued at 4 weeks old from a back yard puppy mill only thing different about her is that she was actually pedigree papered.. Not that I planned on breeding her, I had her spade at 5 months old.. I have lost soooo many furbabies, and when I do lose one, Mostly due to old age, I am compelled to rescue another.. DOG Spelt backwards is GOD!.. I Believe that God gave us these unconstitutionally loving creatures to teach us, How to Love unconditionally, How to forgive.. How to Live and have fun.. I don't even remember a time in my life that I didn't have a dog.. I sooo Miss those years. I had two sets of parents, as my folks divorced and then remarried to other people.. my father raised me to appreciate a work ethic.. to be proud of my accomplishments He taught me honor and integrity and told me that would be all that I came into the world with and what I will leave with, when I pass!!..

I don't like using the word "h**e" it's such a strong word.. and so widely used and widely VAGUE a term it can be has been bandied about with abandoned.. It makes me sick that some of my family have opted to be shallow, and for lack of a better way to put it in today's vernacular.. "ghosted" as in ignore... or blow off.. because of political views.. to me that is the Height of shallow.. and our gov't can't even come together so how can they expect us to.. I miss the good ol days of comin home.. playin with friends...Of course After chores & homework.. I miss family dinners.. family outtings etc.. this world is soo bad off bc of how kids now a days are being raised..

It's funny, I was a latch key kid, meaning both parents worked and so I came home tended to the chores homework and siblings.. and dinner was in the fridge to warm up..bc they were working late..

Now, it seems parents feel guilty about the fact that they both have to work and aren't getting any family time, so when the kids yell, demand and cry about wanting something parents give in and give it to them earned or not.. and these same kids are the ones that have this totally Wicked sense of entitlement & feel that the rest of the world owes them a living!.. Your mom sounds like a wonderful woman.. and I am glad you grew up with her..

All Animals I know, dogs, cats, penguins, rabbits, butterflies, birds, etc. I love nature.
It's funny, these black crews chasing the little birds and eat their food that I put at the bird feeder. They are also noisy cackling, reminds me of Kamala.

When I was young, I planted lots of flowers, now they are all grown up and God blessed them with plenty of blooms where the birds, and butterflies fleet together from flower to flower. I remember Louis Armstrong sang this. " And I say to myself, what a wonderful world"
God is wonderful. Yesterday, I was out late in the PM, watering the plants. I remember that children poem when I was little. "All things bright and beautiful; All creatures great and small. All things wise and wonderful; the Lord God made them all! " Unfortunately I have no dog at present. I have one beautiful cat. She prays with me. Cause when I pray, she comes and sit with me purring. I used to have a dog when my husband left for Vietnam, in to keep me company. Isn't the world beautiful? But this political turmoil spoils God's world.
