Please Post Some More Whining

About every couple minutes or so, someone will go to their political-based website and be so thrilled with some unknown author (or now-famous blogger due to being admired for the most cry-baby complaints) b***hing about this or that.

Then they will post it here and seek validation from other unsatisfied, unfulfilled, unhappy people about how bad things are and who is to blame for it all.

Anyone who tries to point out errors in the article or are optimistic about the state of things are masochists seeking criticism from all the unhappy people.

It is good entertainment. Please post more whining. I like to see those cry babies complain and blame politicians.

Who are the biggest political whiners on this site - conservatives or liberals?

Conservatives are in control of the House and probably soon the Senate too yet they complain like they don't have the ability to compromise with the liberals in order to get something they want. That is because they want more - the Senate and the White House. The best they can do is read "Green Eggs and Ham" from the Senate floor or refusal to pass a budget and folks applaud the cry baby tactic as leadership.

Liberals are in control of the Senate and the White House and complain that everything they do is blocked by the conservatives. So instead of work with conservatives, EOs are published to the admiration of complainers as command.

AMEN Vernon. Glaucon reminds me of the kid who only got to play football with the rest of us because it was his ball. And then acted like it was someone else's fault everytime he dropped a pass, whitch was everytime we HAD to throw him one.

And whine they did. Sorry, I can't whine. I enjoy this site, thought the whining does get old. I have learned a lot here. If I had to decide who whined the most, I would throw up my hands and scream.

What I am hoping for is a turn of events where the liberals are the ones doing the complaining about how things are going for them, Instead of the Conservatives screaming about the crap the liberals keep promoting.

Now would that not be a great thing..... Like the rebirth of Bush....

Survey Shows Media Differences Due to Politics

Conservatives and liberals not only have different political views, they diverge sharply on what news sources they rely upon and trust, a survey has found. Liberals favor CNN, MSNBC, National Public Radio and The New York Times, but none of those sources more dramatically than another. Conservatives have an overwhelming favorite: Fox News Channel, according to a study of media habits released Tuesday by the Pew Research Center. Conservatives are more likely to distrust news sources that don't reflect their point of view, the study said.
Conservatives tend to have more friends who share their political views, and are more likely to read material on Facebook that reinforces their opinions. Liberals are more likely to "defriend" someone on Facebook or end a real friendship because of political differences, Pew said. "One of the things that was striking was the degree of the differences and the consistency across all the different information environments," said Amy Mitchell, Pew's director of journalism research.

Pew conducted its survey in March and April with 2,901 web respondents, recruited from a nationally representative sample. Pew used a series of question to gauge a participant's political leanings and asked respondents their views on 36 different media sources, from the Times to Buzzfeed. Asked about their main source for news on government and politics, 47 percent of the respondents who were judged most conservative cited Fox News. No other organization was close: 11 percent of this group chose local radio.

Here's the Pew description of the research:
Political Polarization & Media Habits

When it comes to getting news about politics and government, liberals and conservatives inhabit different worlds. There is little overlap in the news sources they turn to and trust. And whether discussing politics online or with friends, they are more likely than others to interact with like-minded individuals, according to a new Pew Research Center study.
The project – part of a year-long effort to shed light on political polarization in America – looks at the ways people get information about government and politics in three different settings: the news media, social media and the way people talk about politics with friends and family. In all three areas, the study finds that those with the most consistent ideological views on the left and right have information streams that are distinct from those of individuals with more mixed political views – and very distinct from each other.

It is refreshing to see a post of facts without the whine placing a blame for the facts on someone or some group.

I thought the ending was going to say Obama, Holder, Bush or Reagan were to blame. I was surprised to read it didn't blame anyone.

Are you referring to the Uncle Sam daycare? There's a HOUSE for infants and a SENATE for toddlers, with 20,000 day care workers telling them " who's a widdy biddy purdy baby. Huh? Who's a gooood baby? "
