Weponizing the "Law" for partisan purposes

Just the latest example how the left uses "selective prosecution" against it's opponents.

"Michigan Republican candidate for governor Ryan Kelley will have to surrender his guns while he awaits trial on misdemeanor criminal charges in connection with the J*** 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol breach, a judge ruled on June 16.

The judge also said Kelley can’t leave the state while awaiting trial and must surrender his passport."

So what did candidate Kelly do to warrant this judicial action?

The complaint noted that Kelley didn’t actually enter the Capitol building on J*** 6, and instead is being charged with entering and remaining within a “restricted building or grounds without lawful authority,” disorderly conduct in a restricted building or grounds, knowingly engaging in an act of physical violence against a person or property on restricted grounds, and willfully injuring or committing any depredation against any property of the United States government.

Hopefully, the people in Michigan will see this for what it really is, an attempt to discredit the leading GOP candidate for Governor. I suspect his fund-raising campaign will receive quite a boost.

When does entering and remaining on capitol grounds become a prosecutable offense. When and how was the public notified that the capitol grounds were a restricted area?

Par for the course in Democrat America. All of our inalienable rights are subject to government interpretation, manipulation, limitation, and choice of their emphasizing or minimizing or exacerbating, depending on the subject's political beliefs. The call it 'social democracy'. It is, in fact, f*****m.
And I do not think they know what 'inalienable' means.
