I was wonder how smart our "stopping all flights from West Africa" strategy , that was repeatedly suggested by Republican congressmen, was. How many people do you think would be saved by stopping all flights to the U.S. from the three countries in question? Well I have the answer, 0. Yes that is right zero, nada , zip , zilch. None. There are not now , nor have there been direct flights from those countries to the U.S.

As for flights in, no, none are direct, but there's plenty of them. In fact the competition is so heavy that the cheapest ROUND TRIP from Liberia to L.A. and back is only $637, when I checked last week. Because of the distance, there are several stops to t***sfer to another plane continuing in the right direction.

Not putting this man in quarantine on arrival is either the result of incredibly lax CDC policy, blatant stupidity, or else they want Ebola to become an epidemic in the U.S. Pick one. Personally, when you put this next to all the other endangering acts and apparent carelessness that is causing additional people here to catch this disease, it's starting to look to me like Ebola is being deliberately spread.

I take it you're conceding the fact the Ebola Epidemic is occurring in West Africa... And that Ebola is VERY DANGEROUS... So, by what reasoning do you claim allowing West African people entry into Our USA is NOT POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS?!?

Oh yeah, Ebola is dangerous in West Africa, where the people are poor and uneducated. It is even an epidemic there. But, my point was that our congressmen are stupid. They kept repeating over and over to stop flights from there to the U.S. the doctor's and government kept saying that wont work, because they would just take non direct flights. The t***h that neither know, is that there are no direct flights from there to here.

Checking incoming passengers' Passports will tell Customs which countries EVERYONE HAS BEEN IN regardless of which country their air flight or ship passage is from... So, someone entering indirectly will STILL BE KNOWN TO HAVE BEEN IN WEST AFRICA...

WE CAN AND MUST QUARANTINE ANYONE ENTERING THE USA UNTIL TEST RESULTS SHOW THE PERSON TO BE EBOLA-FREE...
