Eddie Van Halen: What it means to be American.

Living the American dream.

In 1962, Eddie's family immigrated (legally) from the Netherlands and settled in Pasadena, CA.

In 2017, 3 years before his death, at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History,
Denise Quan hosted an interview with Eddie, mostly she just let him tell his story.

55 minutes well spent.

You're welcome, elledee,
it is revealing that so few find this story of living the American dream worthy of comment.
Political war over the future of our country is apparently more important than stories about why America exists in the first place.

You're right Blade, that was 55 minutes well spent. At first I didn't think I'd like it, but it only took a minute to get into it. Thanks.
