San Francisco may be waking up or at least tired of the crime spree

San Francisco will no longer be a criminal’s paradise after the majority-liberal city v**ed on Tuesday to oust known-c*******t district attorney Chesa Boudin.

The once-great city of San Francisco has undergone a serious t***sformation in recent years, devolving into a cesspool of homeless drug users, smash-and-grab robberies, and celebrated drug use.

Progressive criminal justice reform, which Boudin openly ran on, is wreaking havoc all across San Franciso and v**ers have finally had enough.

Republicans in California were eager to pounce on Boudin’s recall, but it certainly was not a conservative-led initiative. Local Democrats voiced similar concerns as Republicans over Boudin’s unwillingness to enforce basic laws. While San Fran is known aptly as a home for uber-liberal Democrats, many believe Boudin’s reforms pushed the envelope way too far.

San Franciscans were eager to recall Chesa Boudin.

Organizers submitted more than 83,000 signatures to the Board of E******ns, roughly 32,000 more than what’s required. Boudin’s own district attorney office turned on him, with two prosecutors leaving the and joining the effort to recall him that same month.

Boudin supporters argue that his far-left criminal justice reform falls in line with v**ers who voiced support for reduced sentencing and elimination of cash bail. However, Republicans and moderate Democrats consistently warned of the harrowing results these policies would produce, and yet Boudin proceeded without caution.

A recall effort against Boudin by no means came as a major surprise given his marginal victory against candidate Suzy Loftus, a more moderate Democrat, who joined recall efforts. In the 2019 general e******n, Boudin defeated Loftus by less than 3,000 v**es.

Boudin began causing a media firestorm in 2019 when he almost immediately eliminated cash bail. He also ruffled the feathers of border agents when the far-left district attorney refused to cooperate with ICE officials. However, Boudin’s real pitfall occurred in March 2021, when he dismissed the k*****g of an 84-year-old immigrant from Thailand. Vicha Ratanapakdee was murdered in broad daylight by 19-year-old black man Antwon Watson.

Watson pleaded not guilty.

At the time, Boudin disagreed with Ratanapakdee’s family and did consider the murder racially motivated, claiming the murderer was having “some sort of temper tantrum”

The v**e to oust Boudin hardly comes as a surprise, as public polling data suggested the district attorney was in danger of losing his post after the city’s e******ns board certified the recall petition against him. Nearly 56% of likely v**ers said they would v**e to recall Boudin, according to a public survey conducted from May 26-29 by the San Francisco Examiner.

One can only hope that other far-left districts attorney in America’s once-great cities will get the clue and finally understand enough is enough.

Good article.

Boudin's supporters were obviously thugs and families/friends of thugs who enjoyed the absence of prosecution and cash bail to aid and abet their criminal tendencies and organizations. Those who v**ed him out were tired of the robberies that closed down their stores, the carjackings, robberies and violence that was allowed to flourish unabated due to the insane "justice reform agenda" by a DA who acted like a defense lawyer for the criminals instead of a prosecutor.
