She Wolf Loc: Currently Georgia

Our cat named by my grand daughter, Mr Kitty, came out of the forest. He calmly walked through my house inspecting each room, decided to rest on my sofa. He meowed to go out and later meowed to come back in. That was 10 years ago. He apparently decided if we were properly trained he could live with us.

It did not take him long to train the people in the house. The dog took a little longer and the iguana is a slow learner.

Hmmm..Archie obtained a d o g for you. You have to walk said animal in all sorts of bad weather. You have a rescue fish, which you have to clean a bowl and feed. A feline will take care of its own bathroom needs without needing human assistance. A feline will not gobble all their food at once but can live nicely on a self feeding container of dry food and self watering container. So far, the only thng Archie has obtained, for you needing no work, is Norbert the stuffed animal from the fair. I think Archie is trying to wear you out so you will not go shopping. :D

I did not obtain her a dog. She obtained US a dog!! After 2 weeks of whining I just finally gave in.
As for all the rest:
We live in the country, and have a fenced yard. So no dog walking around here. They just go outside.
The fish bowl needs cleaning once a week. A 15 minute operation if you don't mess around.
As for feeding:
Fish, drop a few flakes in, put the lid back on. 15 second operation.
Horse, a can of grain, and a flake of alfalfa, fill the water tank. Maybe 10 minutes.
The dogs....I will just say that she could build me at least 3 Dagwood sammiches in the time it takes to 'feed' them!!

They are all good, spoilt rotten boys and girl(s)!!
Not sure about Norbert. How do you tell the g****r of a goldfish??
And.....what can you train a cat to do besides eat, drink, and crap in a sandbox??

Our cats respond to voice commands. They, truly and actually, growl if anything enters our yard. They sit quietly in our laps purring in happiness.

MrsB deserves another warm loving pet, besides the fair won stuffed animal.

One of the two cats we used to have came when we called him, went in his pen when we told him to and loved having a bath and being brushed. The other one acted like a cat.

I'm a dog person myself, but I seem to see a lot of cat people on OPP, so thought this picture might be a good reminder as colder weather sets in.

Looking at the picture, I can only speculate that the cow resting on the Beemer is a city cow. We teach em a little different here in the country!
