1) No. No training beyond the owners manual is necessary to operate a firearm safely.
2) No. What I intend to do with any purchase is no one else's business.
3) Back ground checks are performed for all firearms sales (except person to person) purchased through an FFL.
A wait period is required in some states. Florida is one of them. I have no problem with up to a 7 day wait.
4) Crazy people (adjudicated through due process) should not be able to purchase any firearm without regard to
your attached (murder weapon) adjectives.
5) I don't think the children cared about the shooters training. Neither do you. He was adequately trained in the
operation of the weapon.
6) I knew none of the children k**led by a mass murderer within my lifetime. That does not mean I do not have compassion for the lost lives and those close to them. It does remind me that if an event like Uvalde directly effects you, it's a tragedy. If it does it quickly becomes a statistic. I do not think that poorly thought out, emotional, reactive actions are prudent.

Texas is truly the Wild, Wild West. It is becoming a second amendment sanctuary state with its permitless carry bill. Law enforcement cops will have no idea who the good guy is. Republicans demand the so-called "life of a fetus" be protected. Protecting the lives of ten-year old kids in a classroom does not get top priority.

The more that keeps coming out about this tragedy the more it needs a solid investigation into the real question of why that back door was left open and why these cops stood around and let this monster slaughter all those children!!! I also question just where this school drop out got that much to money to buy these weapons!! The story is that he bought them legally and that gives the left an excuse to start banning legal weapons sales to law abiding citizens which I truly believe is the ultimate goal!

Following the draconian reactions to the C***d p******c and the G****e F***d incident,
the American left declared war on our police.

Throughout the summer of 2020, police officers faced some of the most godawful situations imaginable.
Cops were the prime targets of the l*****t thugs, some officers were k**led,
others injured, some crippled for the rest of their lives.

The left wielded a weapon called "defunding". The high priests of secular progressivism launched their campaign to "Break the police bank account, by Hell, we're gonna show those uppity r****t brown shirt bastards who's the friggin' boss around here."

This direct, often violent, assault on America's police - their bodies and their bank account - sent a fearful shock wave through the entire community of America's police. Fear of C***d, fear of being k**led, fear their families may be attacked, even destroyed, fear of losing their jobs. (I've had conversations with a state police officer and several county deputies on this very subject.)

The hardest hit are those police in states and cities governed by democrats.

To make matters worse, throughout all of this madness,
buildings burning, people getting injured and k**led,
democrat mayors and governors restricted, and even prohibited,
aggressive police enforcement of laws against r**ting and mayhem and murder.

There is no altruism, only selfishness in secular progressive ideology,
no compassion, only cruelty.
Power is all that matters.

The lords of the left have long devalued human life, put a price tag on it,
even to the point of dehumanizing certain groups of human beings.
They have made it possible for you to buy a human being as a sex s***e.
However cheaply they see us, the price they will pay is immense.

Before the war, c***d and the r**ts, we've seen how democrat politicians and l*****t courts have treated police officers, and often their entire departments, we've seen how they prosecuted their police officers and defended the perps.

The war began when Derek Chauvin lit the "Reichstag fire".
"White cop" (by default, a r****t)
"Black criminal" (by default, a victim of r****m)
The dead black criminal is now a saint,
the white cop is in prison.

Hidden from view, not mentioned in the media, was the lowering of standards for police recruitment, qualifications for police work, and training. Some even lowered the standards for the psychological exam.
(Takes a certain mind and sk**l set to do good police work.)

Police departments could no longer find top notch candidates,
and here we are.

Look at our police today - life is cheap, fear of persecution, fear of death, duties are obscure, training is insufficient, future is uncertain, families in danger, it is no wonder veteran cops are taking early retirement, younger cops are resigning.

Cops taking their own lives has long been a serious problem. In fact, police officers are at a higher risk of suicide than any other profession. Number of cops k*****g themselves is three times greater than those k**led in the line of duty.
Now it is even worse.

Is it a mystery why, in democrat governed cities, violent crime jumped on a rocket beginning in January 2021?

NYC, Baltimore, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Seattle and Washington, D.C. are leading the pack.
And they all still believe the myth that gun control works.
And an AR15 is an "assault rifle" with a mind of its own.


P.S. If I were a l*****t on OPP, I wouldn't touch this post with ten foot pole.
