Yes, he's irrelevant but always trying to make himself relevant. And ends up looking like a total horse's ass in every such attempt. If I recall correctly, he is married to a wealthy woman and he has little to offer so is trying to "be somebody" without having to put out any effort. So he chose politics. But he can't even do that.
