Tomorrow I undergo lung cancer surgery. I'm optimistic as are my doctors but who knows.....
I'll be recuperating for quite a while and while I might be reading your posts I doubt that I'd be up to responding.

Whether or not I come back, just remember that hatred and h**e speech don't cure problems, they exacerbate them. Try to reason together. Play nice; don't fight.

I won't go out listening to a liar. (1) I said I'd quit OPP if they continued to give a platform to h**e speech. Unless there was some in the Buffalo shooter thread, which I only read today, I saw no h**e speech. (2) I made the point several times: filter out the h**e speech. I never called for anyone to be banned. I h**e the sin, not the sinner.

I announced several weeks ago that I had lung cancer and posted a warning against smoking. At almost 88 tears I'm told recuperation can be lengthy. That's why I expect to be away. I'm sorry for sounding bitter but your comments make your best wishes sound hollow.

As you know, I believe life is all about choices, even among friends and families. I had to cut losses just to save myself. They were pulling me under. They could breathe but I couldn't. You can't save everyone. The Left has to be cut loose and save themselves. They're a dead weight on our nation. I'd rather save our nation than them. I don't think they're capable of changing, they love their kool-aid way too much. Wishing you all the best and a quick and complete recovery!
